as mission and survival last night me my buddy sorry didn't overnighter it's busting up some rock and I just made a quickie point and this morning during during breakfast I look down and saw a flake it seemed like it might make a point for me so let's give it a shot we're just messing around with little flakes working on a point just had some breakfast hanging out yes is my flick pile so always looking here in your flake pile for a potential point because you look at a second time you'd be surprised all of a sudden you know you look at a piece and you're like wow I can totally see a point in that you don't give a shot I always leave these here next to my fire pits my little Allison chainsaw Jaya you

what I'm doing here is called corner notching you go into the corners straight in

just bring it up the top of this knotch equal to the top of the other knotch all right this is a finished point scre up on the bottom two corner notches nice and sharp it's on overly bulky you know you can do a pentagonal shape like a Jax brief so I think I got one right over here and made a while ago like this one right here Jax Reef point so this has parallel sides which is pretty unique well you can go with the standard triangle my buddy Fox Walker made this one beautiful point give you long gated triangles or shorter ones this is a an otter creek point that I made this is middle to late archaic so I think that's 6500 BC to 1000 BC this design so there's a lot of different designs

some that have a curve on on the way out of the bottom and some that curve in like that Auto Creek there's a lot of some designs to choose from get your side notching you can do corner notching it's up to you you don't have to do a pattern you can do whatever it feels right
