twist a loop I'm gonna then put a bite through that a loop through that loop I created so it looks like see that it's like an overhand around one side of the loop now it's a quick release if it gets pulled but it's gonna be pulled the other way

okay so if I pull this too hard it's gonna be undone so now I'm going to make sure you guys are up there huh oh yeah this isn't my first time filming okay I'm gonna just go through here go through the loop see so now I went through the loop and I could pull this really tight on the tree

this has to be tight because it's gonna hold the weight of the canvas live it's a six pound tent by the way all right this is pretty tight I'm gonna just same thing as my hammock tying knots I'm gonna just pinch it and put two quick releases all temp to get this on film for you guys right there you can kind of see it not really

V can get a good angle for you guys to see this okay you see it there's the loop super high tension I'm gonna pinch put my thumb over hold me bring the loop the rope over I'm gonna pull a bike through it that's a quick release I'm going to make this smaller I'm gonna go through it again another loop another bite take me down so this is a quick release when it's time to go pull this my Ridge is gone my whole Ridge just comes down done nice and tight

five to go tighter I can just undo it I will show you undo it I'm done go even tight it it's a real tight knot pinch it make a quick release make it smaller go through my quick-release done very fast most importantly very effective okay thanks watch game is sure they have glad to be here so making our a would button so I'm just put a stop cut right there [Applause]

I want to give a shout out to my good friend sandy jack in the UK he gave me a jackal or knife years ago incredible knife that I used to film alone for History Channel he said Vancouver Island I staked my life on that knife incredible gift he's a gentleman for sure he did a video years ago of using did a video of using a Polish la boo I think and he set it up really fast things like that did like an overnight with it I'm pretty sure with Sandy and that's when I decided that I needed one years and years and years ago so thank you for that my friend actually a viewer found out and sent it to me as a gift she knows who she is so thank you for that I always wipe my blade especially when I'm doing a pine [Applause]

like to use pine for which stakes so I can knock off the nodes used to no it's like a like a handle so I just carved right here you just think like it's single cut it to push her into the ground

well that color this is nice program so want to share this with you guys it's really important not just have a good kit but being able to service your kit so like right here I'm about to pull this out stake it over here I'll put my way back to do that but I noticed that this particular grommet I don't know what happened to it but the little loop that I use of rope tie out for stake to go through is gone now I could take some rope from my ridgeline obviously you might have saw that I keep kind of a bundle of rat's nest as it were of random cordage in one of my pockets I should keep two like fifty foot packs and just random random stuff you know foot two feet at a time kind of thing it's perfect for this so I can take something small like that and service that because it's not there so I'll probably just use this this isn't even paracord this is just I don't even know what this is most of it is power cord all of it is except for this actually left I just use an over hand off to the right right over left something like that so so it's affordability low stuff on the fly and again I could take you know a foot a cord off my bridge if I had to or whatever
