I'll scream about 35 liters good stuff man no can I keep you nice and warm at you know freezing temps yeah things like a floating floating tent as it closes on the side totally make like a whole camp look at that I love that dude yeah I mean dude if you were flying this hammock three inches off the ground like I do next to the fire you know you can do it you drop this down all the way to the ground you'd be in a tent but in a hand awesome if you really tricky fight for two tens - yeah because thing crazy very cool I'm just checking out your setup is that half of a pup tent you have over there yeah just just a US Army half shelter yep

pretty it feels like it's freezing right now it's right inside here so I'm protected by the wind yet I'm still right in the middle of camp right it's my shelter and I usually just keep one button one button connected it's a little fiddly while holding a camera there this throw this off to the side all right so there's my door open you can also unstick that and do the same thing half half of it open it's definitely roomy inside you know what I'm gonna put on infrared all right so is there's a shot inside it's plenty big in here and I'll show you later but I throw down my blanket I was like a carpet inside of the floor and I throw my kit on one side all my stuff I sleep on the other side my feet towards the door my Sigma bag and everything will go right on top it's really simple set up avenues that for years and years and years [Applause]

so much I was like so so drilled when this time this house has the two wood stoves big wood stoves yeah one in the garage one in the room downstairs that the back room downstairs then it's got the big fireplace you know it's got like this was gonna be my office it's got a whole brick face and then they got the you know I'm not even sure you might know what the call but you know where you store the wood so it dries out while the fire is going it looks like an oven but it's in the wall but I've seen those but I didn't realize that they were there to dry the wood oh I wish I saw that they were ovens people weren't using properly yeah yeah it's too dry the widow oh well you mean like the big kind of alcove we got staff the wood inside up those are nice built into the brick built into the brick but it's got a lock box in the garage so if you have wood delivered they unlock the box and a load the fireplace from that from the garage so you don't have to carry the firewood through the house and then I grew up my one of my best friends growing up his father we used to have Paul the wood yeah because we're like the kids you know so like a couple chords will get dropped off already split yeah not like a pile Hall to me big pile and and so the basement window was was able to be like unhooked from the inside I just taken out right and so we stuff to do a wheel barrel at a time right I'll bring it over and then you just dump it right into the window all right and the second but two of us one guy whoever other guys sitting there just talking him inside the window of the basement yeah so this whole mountain of wood would be a mountain basically inside we do like half of it at a time get tons of it and then go downstairs have to stack it all against the wall and it was an all-day project yeah I always yeah hey guys so they have a place where if they bring in the firewood yeah stacked on a pallet there's a place right near next to it the box yeah fought the pallet to go with the stacked firewood that's crazy and then I guess when the inspector was coming in

he's like one of the state inspectors he's not just a regular I'm inspector yep I'm gonna make sure you're in the frame while you talking yeah you are he's just a state inspector yeah he's a home inspector but he's also a supervisor for the state in that whole state inspectors some building inspector and all that sure she was telling me I guess he goes he goes this fireplace that went all out on well he goes this has got the really thick double wall steel so it radiates the heat in but he's got cold air vent on the floor and it's got vents up on top so it uses convection to bring up yep success it'll throw like ten times more heat than its standard fireplace it's awesome yeah I've seen I mean saw one in Maine that had a fan 2 fans built-in yeah so as the heat comes off it turns on and it helps they've been doing this once this designs different that seemed like overkill to me I didn't like that idea but it's still pretty cool that people can go that far on their dining or fireplace

yeah soon this one here it's so heavily built that they felt that if you broke that you know you got a problem fixing it and the second thing was it was designed so that if you lose electricity that you don't have to worry about heating the house exactly that's what that was - this was a camp in Maine that ran off a propane basically yeah and so yeah they had electricity but it you lose it a lot all right if that happens you get your water from the lake up which is right there like the guard leads to the lake and you can just fall back on the fireplace right they didn't have a wood stove in there just a fireplace so we have the pellet stove upstairs and that one's brand-new another shock because it's sticking out of square feet on the first level and I was just shocked the house was like they had it up to 92 in the fire box and the pellet stove is only like this big it's really small but I guess they're so efficient now can't I cannot for me interesting it was like almost the size a loaf of bread the area that the fire was I'm gonna meet my right and I bought it wood stove a couple years ago Scandia double door open with a single door on the side that logs in GUP thing is so epic I haven't set it up yet right to buy a house maybe maybe next year time of the year after I'm gonna install it and that's gonna be my my furnace go you know it's it's like 600 pounds right and you know it's kind of hard to feel like you know like I have it out like my storage space right now it's like what are you doing with a wood stove you're not used and this is crazy talk to work yeah but that's like the furnace to my house right they usually cost $40,000 about it for $150 used I took it out of somebody's house before they sold it like III burned wood in this stove I know it works yeah this is my furnace to my house like I don't need a furnace that means I can buy a cottage that's a three-season there's a half one and now I prop that in putting some insulation boom right so yeah it's pretty cool I'm slowly preparing everything so once I you know I'm hoping maybe if I cottage in Maine a three season as it cheap you know like 60,000 to to a hundred thousand right and I'm just converting it over to Paul was converted a full season into a full time house I'll probably add add like a bedroom in each side right off the thing so I said about one or two will be like a four or something with an office or whatever and I'll probably make a a little a small cabin like like Thoreau had a single room very small two windows with a little fireplace right so I can so I can write some a writer and so I could just have like my myspace to like right you know doing what I need to do whatever it is well it's write books or you know design classes or design gear or I don't know it's gonna be off grid cabins somewhere

I'm hoping to get some land and be next to a lake and stuff so we'll see how it happens that's my that's my eventual ghost once the house is all done once we get it all fixed stuff because of some stuff that doesn't eat small small stuff but it doesn't need some work so we kind of act really working off Haven because the house did involve a FHA VA loan so we had to go with conventional but I had so much money down that it worked out really well for us so that's the next goal is I want a small cabin something's near a lake with the screen I want to be by a stream with moving water and so we can do the hydro thing and the solo thing so you know we want to you know we do you know have it off-grid enough that it's not temporary you know you also have that be the stream to be going down a hill right so the gravity of it's speeding up all right we'll give the pressure you need to be able to have pressure out of your pipes right I think Steve Rinella
