anybody who's fished Algonquin Park in the spring knows that the transition can be quite good problem is you have to get back back into the backcountry - away from highway 60 in particular in order to get in to get Road fishing so in order to do that you need to put some distance behind you with usually a lot of Portage's and then therefore you need light equipment so I like to reduce the amount of gear especially my fishing tackle this spring I'll be traveling over 200 kilometers over seven or eight days in order to reach some prime fishing grounds and to just to get some solitude on a solo canoe trip so I need to would like my gear even more than usual but that of course includes my tackle box so what I'm gonna do is so what I'll do is I'll just bring this and flips it into the pocket of my fishing jacket and you know really not a lot in here and even half of this I'm sure it won't use but on this particular trip I am bringing a fly rod ends and spin rod last year it caught most of my fish and a car like a hundred and fifty fish in six days mostly brook trout with one big leg curve almost all although we're just caught on small spinners like that they're very productive in the park these egb spoons are are popular in the park the fish seem to like it most of the bait fish that I've seen especially in the rivers are more bronze color than silver flash so these things I can see how why they would work well helpful for this trip so that's the spinning spinning gear lures don't know how much I'm going to use them I plan on doing more fly-fishing this year anyway if their light doesn't take up much room and this will be my kit for the entire summer for also for for panfish intricate rope fishing trips bunch of hooks here most of these could probably come out just a couple of small flies in here as well the suckers responding in the spring and the creeks and rivers and the trailer and feeding on the sucker spawn so a couple of egg daven's a few small worm patterns these flashy streamers should work very well I haven't tried them before in the park but since they you know there is why she is the spoons and spinners so I'm sure these things will work very well and you know I've heard and I've experienced myself that that brook trout in Galka Parker more meat eaters they're eating minnows and I like out of one a couple of years ago big female brook trout that I don't know deep hooking so I kept it and she had a mouth in her stomach so also a bunch of wooly buggers and other nymph patterns for about bottom balancing which they'll work as well especially in the spring bouncing those along the fast water base of the rapids and I've got one big aggressive aggressive pattern what that's a cold but anyway that that's a big ugly thing that the latoque I'm sure think they're very competitive in the rivers and they'll be trying to compete each other getting Grayson tier two a big flashy lure so and then we've got some little mothers which very closely resembles it the small minnows that are in the rivers couple of small small minnow baits which actually found those quite productive as well that's a smaller fella X rep I think it is small joy to perch repel there are quite perched in the park and rupture of an electrode do feed on so I can use that in the lake as well so besides that the only other thing I always Bram bring these on every trip I go on what no matter what the species I've caught lake trout brook trout Pike bass other pan fish walleye so I've got just about everything unless you see this one's really chew it up with teeth marks

that's a newer one I've squeezed the hooks on them myself and so everything a trip it's not nice to hook yourself with barbed hooks but also for quicker release I won't keep my chair at land in the park and these are I don't fit in this small talk the look so what I'll do is typically just bring in a package and I could fit two of them in there only problem with that is being cardboard by the end of the week gets deteriorated it's falling apart so I think this year I'm just gonna put in a trouble guard treble hook guards on the lure two of them and then I can slip that right in my job in my pocket of my life jacket just like it is so that's my trim fishing and pan fish setup so what else do I bring up one of these depending on the species again this is 15 pound of fluorocarbon it's very clear and and then so that's leader material use that use that to retie leaders and Tippit's and I've got a lighter one here I don't know six or ten pound fluorocarbon thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss the upcoming video of my spring trip which you see they're gonna be that plus we can rate for the first week of May depending on one

so this issue
