cooking the rough grove so they shot yesterday just on an open fire will up for a walk and you'll notice the fire that I'm building is right beside the water the reason for that I'm actually below the high-water mark here in the spring water is gonna flow down through here with ice and snow and wipe all of this clean so any any Asghar fire scar that would be on the rock here is gonna get cleaned up I don't have to worry about roots catching on fire or leaves sort of pine needles in his late fall everything's pretty dry it's always nice to have a fork in there cuz even if you skewer it and it's pretty tight the fork stops the meat from turning on the stick so I'm cooking this over a little old fire lots of smoke add some flavor to the grouse but rough grouse one of the best meats you can eat fantastic I've just got the cake spice on their cake seasoning

and yeah it's gonna have a quick lunch and then head out the very soft skin so they're pretty difficult to pluck cleanly so I usually end up just skinning just pull the skin off like this it's really easy that's this guy's thanks again for watching and don't forget to tune in next Saturday I'm going to try to get a video out on some cold November or camping in the rain
