Backpacking Water Heater

Here I show my backpacking water heater that has been in use about 25 years. Simple to make from cans and copper tubing, light weight. Gives Continuous supply of hot water.

hello this is perry peacock with wilderness innovation we're up snowshoeing today at the above hobble creek canyon and in utah i'm going to show you the little homemade stove we've got four for a what little water heater for continuous supply of hot water this thing's just made out of a metal can and what we've done is soldered some copper tubing here and that tubing goes all the way to the bottom of the can when you pour water in it goes it has to go to the bottom or the flame is the hot water rise to the top comes out of this to butt into your glass that way you have a continuous supply of hot water so once you get once you get this thing boiling you can just do Cup after cup of hot chocolate or whatever you want I know we've worked at the Boy Scouts we've had as much as 18 or 19 cups of hot chocolate in a row so the way it works is all I've got to do is pour some water in this little funnel up top the water comes out the spout right here into that cup and then that gives you fresh cup of hot chocolate enjoy your time out in the snow and be nice and warm perry peacock with wilderness innovation
