hey perry peacock here with wilderness innovation Ben and I are out here doing a little camp and we're gonna grab a little firewood for winter for the cabin and all that sort of thing but in the mail last week we got a little spark light fire starter that came from one of our suppliers is a free gift and we have our own fire starter kit that we absolutely love and but you know we like trying to other things all the time anyway and this little guy here's got a got a pretty nice little spark to it so this this little guy right here used to be made out of aluminum and they made a really super lightweight out of plastic with a very nice Flint's Parker look that's a nice pretty sturdy spark that comes out of there and it comes in this little kit box and it has eight of the little cotton very very fine cotton fiber braided mesh fire starters in here that'll burn for I think bend time tyner that was it two and a half minutes or something yep so you know to nap minutes or so of a flame we're up here there's a lot of uh there's a lot of uh whatever they are piffle I don't know Bissell that was a blooper yeah anyway up here there's a lot of thistle that's bloomed out so me and Ben went and gathered a handful of that up sticking that in there we're going to try this thing out to try to light that thistle up and then try to catch some some bark that we've teased a little bit then kind of go from there into a fire so better out of a shot here see what happens never use this thing before only lighting one of these pinder things in the shop so well give it a try first time outdoors alright so first time using this outdoors are natural materials we'll see what happens there's gonna try to throw some that's pretty good if that burns well enough to get some of this Bart going here pull get us the material over here and I got get some oxygen in here there you go here you go well that that was a pretty hard to beat that for an easy start wasn't it doesn't get much easier I was nice that thing works really good so anyway there's our first attempt with this and uh you know granted we did do what you're supposed to do doesn't matter how many i always say doesn't matter how many spires you started Fire doesn't care if you've started 10,000 fires if you do it wrong one time it doesn't work so we did to our preparation with our twigs and our graduated our timber from the t's bark and all that sort of thing so you know once we got the once we got the the seed pods from the from the heat this'll this'll yeah we'll get it here we can't even think and I haven't even been drinking yeah but anyway once we got that stuff going you saw how that stuff just just flamed and a lot of people try to do that kind of fine stuff and they leave it really tightly balled up and you notice how we had it really spread wide and it was really it was had plenty of room for air so once it started the whole width of it just instantly went into flame so that's something to remember regardless whether you use this or anything else is is you got to let that ball be loose so that it can flame up otherwise it he'll just flash and that'll be gone so so he did to our preparation everything about work great so nice low fire starter and so that's the

spark light very nice little kit and we got it for free so hey we can't complain about it so perry peacock with Ben we're up here going to have us a great night up in the top of the mountains here and really well we can't be in the woods enough so anyway you take care now have a great time in the woods in an outdoors give this a shot very peacock wilderness innovation have a great day you

you
