Homemade Root Beer with yeast RELOADED VIDEO

I happen to show you how to do something that's a little more pleasurable something a lot more fun we're going to do homemade root beer and we're going to use yeast as our carbonator here so let me show you how we do that start out the best thing you can do really is safe the two of your bottles the recipe I'm going to give you here that I have that I use it's designed to use a two-liter bottle so that's how much you make in a time which actually for most people that works great so you start out at that bottle and I detect I just peel the label off or whatever buddy but here's here's the ingredients you need we'll go through those real quick ready just some some bread yeast that works this stuff right here works just fine and some root beer concentrate now this is McCormick's and I know there's hires and you know there's a whole bunch of them some guys already told me about some other bonds I need to try society runs and that sort of things so when I run out of this stuff I'll try some of those a threat you're on a dating take your take your regular bottle you rinse your liter bottle you rinse it out and once it's rinsed out and everything then here's what we do you need a funnel and what we're going to do is one cup of sugar just pour that in here this stuff has a this stuff has a few lumps on it we keep our sugar in a five-gallon bucket has a screw top lip for it alright so now we've got the sugar in there now you just kind of swirl it around a little bit to make a flat place inside of there now we're going to get the yeast they're gonna do 1/4 of a cup well I'll tell me that some good stuff 1/4 of a teaspoon of yeast do this cuz that's the way the right the directions say don't know if you can see it down in there it's kind of coated on top of the sugar according the recipe I'm using supposed to just kind of swirl that around a little bit these dry ingredients the yeast and the sugar just something like that to kind of I don't know to just to get it stirred around a little before we put some wet ingredients in alright now the next thing we're going to do lay a paper towel down next thing we're going to do is we're going to put one teaspoon 1 teaspoon of the root beer concentrate and here again you can kind of vary that according to your own I just want to show you that constant treats then and there the sugars all stirred in and now just to make it easy here I'm just gonna pour some water in here I like to kind of rinse touch I like to kind of rinse the spoon a little bit got a pretty good bit ooh making the mess I normally do this in the sink I thought it might be a little easier to show you like this all right now you just fill the bottle about half full and then what you want to do is just start swirling it around shake it you getting in the bottom here you'll have so much sugar sit in some of the lobes of the bottle but this kind of shit so we're using just cold water here and I'm filling this bottle up it's 2-liter bottle almost all the way up here I need a little more than that we're trying to do is get it up to about an inch below the lid there the neck of the bottle right little that nice probably actually a little more than I should it'll be all right I guess there we go I just don't below all right now screw it on nice and snug and I like to do another little shake here all right so there you have it now you just get to set it in your kitchen or somewhere and just leave it just thirty like here on the cupboard and wherever you want to let it sit for about two or three days at the end of that time period it'll look like this and you notice it was this full and now it's kind of down here lower that's because it's pushed down a little with the pressure of carbonating and everything and so there we have it that's after two days now to stop the action to go any further we put it in the fridge and that kind of sets it but where we got it here and it'll keep it nice and carbonated and then after its chilled and everything taken pour yourself a fresh glass of homemade root beer nice and icy cold nicely carbonated very good flavor all made root beer very simple try it yourself get yourself a couple of two-liter bottles and do this up it's great stuff and it's inexpensive easy to make care that's fun
