well we got a sir we got us a pretty good little snowfall coming down this spring morning got my fire gone my survival type pitch behind me big nice betta of Juniper boughs I slept on last night got my fire going got to get ready to poach me an egg and cook me up a little bit of some breakfast and man it is nice and cozy here despite of the snow coming down all that sort of thing and sitting here on this bed of boughs and everything man it's nice and cozy pretty comfortable so not in a good time this morning out here just enjoying the dang nature hey perry peacock here with wilderness innovation and just a little quick tip for winter camping I like to you know if you're coming back in somewhere I like to snap off a few pine boughs obviously not I didn't do it right here in the campground I went up trail aways and but anyway get about a foot thick and you just kind of stack them on each other kind of crisscross and then that gives you a place to sit down like right here by the fire there now I can sit down by the fire they can be nice right here where it's nice and warm and I'm actually as the snow is actually I packed it down it's about this much higher back here too so makes it nice and comfortable and cozy I can see her for a long time never feel the cold from the bottom so in lieu of bringing yourself a a chair or stool or something something like that works really nicely

all right found me uh tell me a big piece of bark off a pine tree up there that falling down the start peeling off the sites like thought I'd bring it down here

hey perry peacock care with willis innovation a little quick tip for you today uh you know you get to get on the cold ground or snow or ice or whatever yeah it can be kind of chilly on you anders a lot of time to use the pine boughs and stuff like that haila insulate from the cold but uh another thing that can be done is uh bark like this you know you stack this stuff up several inches three or four inches thick that can make a pretty good difference on you pug been sitting on this one piece for a good while and I'm really not really haven't been feeling the ice through it it's kind of the same thing that we used to do with the Boy Scouts for kind of a cheap inexpensive way for a sleeping pad as taking cardboard from cardboard boxes and cut it and then stack it up and then the boys sleep on top of that same kind of deal this bark here is pretty loose and porous and provides a pretty good insulation so that's something out in the out in the wilds besides pine boughs and dry grass and twigs and different things like that another option you can use to get yourself up off the cold from the snow and the ice make me a little floor mat now there we are I'm not standing right on the ice stand on the slope and wet right here that should make a little bit of difference alright this fish is coming along nicely so I perry peacock with a little bit of a quick tip for you today have a great day and we'll talk to you later on another video
