New DW Series Poncho - Light - Hybrid Coatings - Strong - Many Functions

Description

Our DW series of ponchos are made of a special fabric, a ripstop nylon with a diamond shaped weave, it's lighter, strong, and also has unique coatings for exceptional waterproofing. The coatings are 2 x silicone one side and 4 coats silicone/urethane on the other. These ponchos do all our other ponchos do, a poncho, a tarp, a hammock, a chair, and many others. hey perry peacock with wilderness innovation here I'm glad to see the morning and I comin comin around here it's as you can see it's in the early fall here and we just came thru the night with quite a storm we had wind and hail and rain a little bit of snow and quite a quite a nice quite a nice night and that was great I've got a new poncho a new style a new type of fabric that I want to show you today real quickly and this is this is in the same style fabric right here this is a black one and as you can see it's all mucky from from all the everything all the weather and everything gone around and do my camp chores and all that so let me show you the new the new color that I'm really looking forward to showing you and tell you just a little bit about this new fabric very lightweight and still very very strong so here's the new color and actually when we found this fabric where I was looking for a color like this because we haven't ever carried a poncho in an OD green color this is actually called a dark dark olive dar Cody and I really like it it's like OD green with a little bit more olive in it as you can see it really really blends in nicely with the trees and the surroundings and all that sort of thing so if you want to have something that's not actually a camo but but you you know that kind of blends in with the environment there's a great great color to have I'm wearing this OD poncho and it's very nice you can see it's a very nice color if you look at the pattern of the of the ripstop leave in this fabric you can see it it's woven on a diagonal instead of straight up and down like this so it gives it kind of a diamond shape inside of there it's a lighter weight fabric than our standard lineup hunt shows but yet we can still set there when we set this up as a hammock we can still run this thing you know somebody at 300 pounds or so can still use this poncho so it's a very nice little deal so if you go to our website wilderness innovation come you'll find under shelter you'll find our poncho shelters and when you look under colors your color selection choices you'll see if you see any that that have a DW by the color by the name of the color so this will be this will be OD and let's say DW so that is this type of fabric so it's very lightweight just this this one here is a PS SL size and it weighs in the punch with self weighs in at just right at one pound 12 16 ounces and so it's very nice if for something that you can use as a hammock or a type or a chair or all different kind of shelter options so anyway that's how you'll distinguish them

I wanted to tell you one other thing about this this punch all in all of our ponchos the hood is made like this we have an ample hood it's plenty big but we've actually designed it so if you're wearing a ball cap when you pull down the drawstring a little bit it wraps just around the bill of the ball cap so it kind of let your ball cap push the hood out just a little bit so it gives you that runoff area and it gives you a little bit of open space in here it works very nice and that's accomplished by this there's a bumper on the back it comes to Pancho's wilderness innovations got you covered whether it's our ultralight multicam version whether it's our HD series our series of ponchos that are made out of cordura nylon for extra extra tough use whether it's going through brush or thorns or you know whatever it might be if you can push your way through it you can wear the HD series through anything and we've got our regular line and now just kind of an additional part of a regular line the DW series right here available in black charcoal and dark OD just like this one right here and all of these will all do the same things I'll all make in two hammocks they'll all make into ponchos or tarps or ground cloths or chairs or all kinds of other shelters and super shelters different things like that so all of these are designed to be multifunctional so you take one of these with you you're going to use it for something no matter where you go or when you go even if it's just for shade on the desert
