I've got my poncho laid out for a hammock configuration and I've already pulled my cord through the end here my objective hair is going to be is going to be to have a little bit of liner Janus sticking out the ends here as I and I gather this I don't know if you can see it very well or not think if I grab those two ends and kind of flip this over so maybe you can see it a little bit all right so I've purposely I'm excessively pulling a little bit out of here just for the just for the sake of it here okay so now I've kind of there we are that's what I want so now I've got a little bit of liner sticking out and as I cinch down on this thing and turn this thing into a hammock is that what kind of sealed the foot end of my of my hammock and since I'm going to be using this for thermally for sleeping in so that will hold that thing right there in that place all right so you can kind of see what I've done here have actually kind of pulled just a tad bit of the liner through and when we've cinched down on this hammock that's kind of holding that in place I'm just I think I like that because it kind of makes sure that during the night is you're in here and your your feet are kind of down and they're right like that that makes sure that this stuff doesn't kind of pull back out and in your feet are kind of exposed to the to the air so that just holds that in place and I like that and then as you can see all of our all of our liner here is all snapped into the to the poncho you see that makes a nice nice big cozy spot in there where where you can lay and you're not against the just the fabric here you've got some insulation between you and you can pull it you can kind of pull it up around you pretty well what I'm gonna do here is see I'll pull this over this way over my feet and then I'll snap that then they come up just a little more now once when you get in here sometimes you'll see some of this stuff will kind of be gobbed up kind of in the bottom so when you see that you just kind of reach on the bottom and just kind of pull it up around so it's kind of up here so it's not pulling down like this you know so you have your extra material here I'm even going to unsnap this other snap here and I'm going to pull that over now I'm going to snap that snap okay just see what we can do here and I can kind of use my elbows a little bit I can kind of work like that a little bit now I now say I'm not really pulling on on anything here I know what I'm going to do I think I'm gonna do the same thing one more time unsnap here and even unsnap there now I'm going to snap that in place just piece underneath

I just keep pulling that in that direction right there and the and the hammock even this gives you some wind protection and that sort of thing and so I'm pretty much up in here like this now look at that I mean I can I'm pretty well I'm pretty well closed into here I mean there's not that much of me exposed so if I I sleep like this and this is what I it was too dark to film this last night but just laying here like this and you know got a hat on my head and everything and it I'll tell you what it is nice and comfortable and it turns this this poncho you know into a into a hammock you know and you add the liner now we've got a line hammock which which kind of doubles as a light sleeping bag really if I were more in the wintertime and I were out like this and I'd had my jacket on or something I would probably pull the arms out of my sleeves and lay my lay in my jacket here just for some extra protection you know up around my chest you know or whatever I mean this is kind of if you're using it just solely it's a survival deal you know I do just like this and I would be comfortable I mean I know that I know I'm comfortable down in the 30s and you know into the 20s a little bit just like this so you know so it's not a bad deal man not a bad deal at all it's very very cozy very nice so anyway that's a little bit about our another addition to our our PSS which II personal survival system shelter and I our intention with this thing is to make as much out of this as we can and that's why we tried to snap everything and tab everything out so it's all the same so you know we have some even some even more cool ideas coming up for for additions on to this system but this this really makes a nice little nice little deal right here and insulated hammock using your poncho liner so now a perry peacock with wilderness innovation just keeping you updated on what we got going on here have a great day you
