there's a perry peacock with your wilderness quick tip today I want to talk to you about maintaining some of the trails that you might frequently use you take this trail right here for example this one through the winter and stuff I've been up through it a little bit but as you can see here it's starting to get a little bit overgrown and stuff kind of gets pushed down from the snow in the winter time and things will fall onto the trail all that sort of thing take a pair of pruners like this and hand pruners hair just carry them with you and you hike and I don't usually stop much to do trimming I just as I walk just something that sticks out there I snap it off that way I don't spend a lot of time but as I go through the trails lie and I just come on stuff that's in the way you snip it off and just keep on going most the time I try to do while I'm still walking here's a little piece that's broken off and say you got this stuff right here that's actually growing right into it's right where your head is going to go right down the trail so we're going to you know nip some of that off here real quick so it doesn't take much to clean up the trail a little bit if everybody does their part in good shape a little bit of trail cleaning keep it nice and good for myself and anybody else who wants to come here so take a little pair of clippers or something with you especially in the spring help clear the trail this perry peacock with your wilderness quick tip
