oh this is perry peacock with wilderness innovation and I'm here today to tell you a little bit about some more things that you can do with our PSS which is if you've been following us or whatever over time you know that's our personal survival shelter that started out as just a rain poncho and then we added some tabs around the edges to turn it into a tarp and then we made some changes to it so we could turn it into a hammock so so that's kind of what it's been but there's also some more things you can do it for example while you can make a Yukon chair out of it out of a tripod of have sticks which are we got a video on that you can catch and you could also make it into this swinging hammock hammock chair like this and this is very simple to do takes about probably about five to ten minutes to set it up and it sets up on one in just like you'd set up a hammock only set it up a little higher so you can lift so you have a you know you're not reclined as far you have a little more of a chair and then on the other end we just throw a piece of wood through the bottom this is our seat or seat board here and I just tie a piece of parachute cord to each side go up to a tree get it to however high you on it if you pull it up more in relation to the head end you'll be reclined more if you let it down some then then you'd be more upright so that's very very simple to do like they say just takes a few minutes and you can be just in the height of comfort here so if you want if you need to read a book or do some writing you just want to sit and gaze around if you just want to lay back and take a nap here's a good additional use for your personal survival shelter so this is another use for it and we've also got some other things coming that are going to be really really nice so stay tuned and watch that okay just a couple it's about making the swinging hammock chair you want to use a piece of wood that's about four or five feet long something like that you want to make sure that this piece of wood here is strong enough that it's going to hold you don't want to break it on yourself you know just kind of make sure you know it seems pretty sturdy and you do want to take a knife or an axe or something and trim off any you know put anything that will poke or rough edges or something like that so we don't want to be wearing into our into our PSS here and over here all I've done is used slippery Siberian hitch on each side right here to hold the thing up that's plenty good okay now as usual like we do with the with the Yukon chair or the hammock our hood basically our hood we just cinch it tight and we take it and snap it up here so it's just kind of up out of the way our piece of PSS that wraps around I tried it both ways it's more comfortable to wrap in the more comfortable to wrap it underneath and back up like this and then this is just the ends like as if i was using my hammock just goes all the way through and then i've taken it up here and i'll show you the top here how I've secured that okay so what I've done is I just brought one side up each each way here and I just went through this piece here that's actually holding this end of the chair up and then I just tight a night it's titus slippery taut line doubled over here

you

Oh
