Make an "A" Frame Tent from a Poncho with stick supports

Our Poncho is designed for use all year round, and can perform many functions, it can be a poncho, a tarp, a tent, a chair, a hammock, a ground cloth, etc. In this video we show how to make an "A" frame pup tent that is reinforced by a set of sticks. alright so I've got another poncho here set up at a different fashion now this poncho here there's a PSS XL so this one is 9 feet long because extra long I still can have some pretty nice coverage with this thing and so what i did i put a ridge line through here I staked out the corners and I've done something a little special a little different than maybe you might see sometimes but I'm taking advantage of the hood option here and I'm using two sticks that are in a than an a shape like this the basically all they do is we're just resting in the top of the hood right here and what they do is they keep this this shelter here spread apart in the middle sometimes you get some wind going on a shelter like this and it wants to push in on you this helps to keep that spread out even with a win and everything so so it's just another option of how things can be done alright so just to show you what i'm doing here I've got my drawstring for my hood you see that kind of gathers all up here and there's a snap right here that the hood snaps down to we built that in there to allow you to be able to secure the hood down so here's what I've done is I've notched these two sticks together so they stay up like that all I do is that now is I just pull my hood over there and then what I'm going to do is snap down to the snap right here which helps give me some elevation then I pull my drawstring down close that off and that helps to secure me pretty well so there's another little option here so this is perry peacock out here enjoying my time out in the woods and showing you some of these things that you can do this is this is nothing this is just three

something you can do with our poncho serve our poncho shelter system and so and this is just showing you a few things we can do in the tarp area of setups so we got this one here which is basically your pup tent type of a setup right here we've got over there kind of a lean-to with an awning on it with plenty of room to sit up now it's a nice little setup if you're out hunting or whatever you just out and got a drizzly rain or whatever and you just want to be able to sit down and relax and be out of the elements a little bit and still be able to see out and see everything and then down down back in there we've got the other one the huts the woodland camo set up as a lean-to so you know there's a lot of different things that we can do with this little poncho set up and will be showing you some more things that you can do with the poncho shelter system there's already there's already a playlist on our youtube channel for it will be will just be renaming it slightly so it so will now say poncho shelter system and but keep watching for their we're going to be show you a lot more things as I just basically it's just in my just in my time I spent out in the woods I'll just be doing some stuff with it and show you what I'm doing
