We Test our Tarp, Poncho/Hammock, and Blanket Fabric - It's Tough

Description

Over the years our gear has been used all over the world by all sorts of people, with almost no failures. In this video we wanted to test the fabric a different way, using a narrow strip of fabric. We test several times on each type of fabric. The first two sets of test I did barehanded, which hurt quite a bit, then I tried a set with gloves, which hurt less but did not grip as well.

take very peacock with rolling as innovation here I've got a got a little bag of some scraps of fabric here and because i want to show you something we get some people that oftentimes will wonder well you know how strong is a fabric or something like that or sometimes I'll see me on a video and I might have one of our Poncho's hammock or tarps or whatever and it's laying on the ground and they see me walking on it and all that sort of thing and isn't that harmful to it all that sort of thing well I guess it's not the best but I don't know I've never I've never had a failure from it yet and are our overall product failure his essentially started is about a little bit less than a tenth of a percent so I mean we have almost no failure in our gear now of course obviously with all the thousands of pieces and simply put out occasionally something does happen but it's pretty rare then what I wanted to show you how strong some of the fabric is that we use for our ponchos and tarps and and I just want to just give you an idea just a little here just a little thin little thin scraps and stuff those left over from sewing and that's our coyote standard standard fabric which would be equivalent to to either our ten are currently ten the coyote the woodlands will that be standard for all of our typical fabrics as far as a representing strength as i'm going to show you and then I'll show you this when I hear this is this is probably the lightest fabric acts are introducing a new and tiger stripe camel which we have a bunch of the tiger stripe and this would be our lightest fabrics that we have and I'll show you this one as well then the same kind of routine so let's get the game on so

really be better if I had a higher great you're something here we go ultimate is fine as you can see so here's the coyote again no problem holding me and so that's our tart material the tart material he'll be just fine last liest like they say I don't know this is a little spooky my hands are kind of hurting here this here is the this is the blanket material that's totally it's uncoated it's just all it is is blanket material okay see you fake it do this enough bang my hands hurt my head hit

locally just fine as you can see out should of course some gloves anyway as you can see this stuff is pretty tough just a little no scraps i mean you know look how light that stuff is it just floats in the breeze and yet even our blankets are made out of this kind of stuff here so it's not unbreakable but you see this little piece of scrap here it'll hold me I'm a scrap here hold me I'm I'm unfortunate i'm a little over 200 pal de shouldn't be but I am but that anyway very very strong stuff and it hurts
