Testing Our Gear Carry Bags - Protecting your Investment

Description

We have a little fun abusing the bags for this video. Our bags are not just an afterthought, they are intended to protect the investment you make in gear from the sometimes abusive world we live in. They also feature MOLLE attachment compatibility. They are standard with our Tarps (PST), Poncho/Hammock (PSS), Survival Kit (CSK), Fire Starter Kit (FSK), and other items.

hey perry peacock here with wilderness innovation and i wanted to well one of the toot our own horn today we've had a number of customers that have written or called in to us and have indicated to us some information about their experience with our gear and how tough and durable it is and appreciating that and in particular there's one thing that has mentioned been mentioned repeatedly that we frankly haven't ever tooted our own horn about and it was something from the very beginning that we intended to we started off with and we just kind of did it not really thinking about telling people much about it and that is the carry bag that our gear comes in particularly are our tarps and ponchos but most of our gear comes in in a sturdy thousand in your cordura nylon bag very very heavy-duty sturdy pack cloth that really our intention is for this bag to really protect the gear you invest in when you purchase purchase your gear from us right from the beginning a lot of what we had thought about was was that our gear would be many times perhaps stored somewhere or stowed might might wind up behind a seat under a seat on the floor might be in the bed of a truck or somewhere on a TV or whatever and you know there's a possibility that the gear could get damaged with the study bag that we provide for our gear it helps to protect it from damage we had a little bit of fun coming up going to show you just a just a minute or so of just some some video we shot just showing you some of the some of the things that you that this bag will protect your poncho or your your type or whatever against just kind of

out there and you know we're not saying by any means that it makes impossible for your gear to get damaged and we're not saying this is all the things that could happen ok but just them just stay we're looking at protecting your gear from some of the common things or maybe not quite so common things that that might happen to your tia gear in the course of your ownership of it so we just want to emphasize that a wilderness innovation were will intent on protecting the investment in the quality gear that you buy from us and want it to last a long while and we want it to be ready to use whenever that emergency or whenever that time comes that you need to use it we want it to be there we want it to be able to work for you not be full of holes or tore up or whatever so we want to do our part on our end to help protect that so take a quick look at the at the following video and and have a little fun with kind of what we did with this so you can see after we've done to this bag it's pretty well preserved the only thing there's a little bit of scuffing and wearing probably from driving over with the truck on just the the buckle and the d-ring right there the bag itself can't find any signs of any kind of damage or wear tearing it all so let's open up the bag and get the tarp out and take a look at it remove the packaging there and see the tarp all the way all the way around we see no holes no tears no abrasions everything's secure one other thing I wanted to mention real quickly here in passing is there's a number of people that probably may not understand the potential the full use of of the Molly attachment set up that our bags have on them this allows you to attach your your bag to the outside of a pack which is another nice reason to have a sturdy thousand in your quarter a bag because if this is every bit as tough as any of your backpacks would be but also but this allows you to attach to the outside in many different ways whether you have the molle system on your pack whether you have a few straps or D rings or whatever you can leave this through however so you can keep it on the outside it's very sturdy and it also comes with 2 D rings a lot of times I'll use those d-rings to put a just a shoulder strap around my shoulder and I'll just carry it at my side when I'm going out kind of a little more minimalistic alee and many times I'll even use this attachment system to take some other bags like this like say a tarp and a poncho bag or a survival kit or fire starter kit and I'll use this Molly attachment to weave those into here and then carry that whole little deal right there and that's just what I'm taking with me so I just wanted to point that out just another little feature that comes on our our bags
