hey perry peacock here with a little quick tip for you today you know I've talked before and sure you're all aware of it is trying to keep yourself hydrated especially in the winter when the air is called every time you breathe n your body has to moisturize that dry air and so that draws moisture out of your body to do that you can literally lose more moisture in a cold dry winter air the not on the Sahara Desert in so it's very important for you to stay hydrated drink plenty of fluids some people talk about but you shouldn't you shouldn't shouldn't drink hot water or whatever it's really not going to help you in the cold and it actually it actually does help when it's quite pleasant and I just put my little canteen in the stove here at the end of my cooking and just sitting there for a few minutes this thing's warmed up now I get a nice mug of 28 ounces of nice warm water and here's the thing is here you know your body temperature inside your core temperature 98.6 on average for you normal now if you're drinking cold water in what does your body have to do your body's got to warm that lets stuff hit your stomach your body's got to warm that up but you know it's got to get warm from someplace so that's actually taking some heat to do that you can take some water whether it's you know hot or whatever at least at least close to body temperature or something like that or even hotter and drink that not only does it feel good going down and it feels good you can feel it down inside of you but way you're actually putting into your body something warm so you're not taking away from body heat you're maintaining body heat or if if the water is fairly warm you actually adding some warmth to your body to your court so don't be afraid to bring drink warm or hot water and the winter time to keep yourself warm drink plenty of water and stay hydrated dehydration's one of the biggest factors in the onset of hypothermia so drink plenty of water to avoid that stay out stay safe stay hydrated enjoy your time in the wintertime have a great day is perry peacock with your wilderness quick tip you
