At The Wedges setting up some New Camp Gear - Hunt Camo

Description

We headed out on the desert and up to The Wedges on the San Rafael Swell in Utah to enjoy some scenery and set up some new gear. Before I go on, here are some links -

The xWide Poncho - http://wildernessinnovation.com/shelter/poncho-survival-shelter-xwide/

The Mesh Bag - http://wildernessinnovation.com/bags/

In an area devoid of most any ground cover only the stunted Junipers and Pinion Pines rise above the sandy ground. Being windy most all the time I find a poncho to be handy on chilly days to fend off cold breezes. Since our Ponchos are designed to be multipurpose I know that I will always use one when I take it with me. I can set it up as a tarp, a hammock, a chair, or even use it as a poncho. Our HD versions are extra tough, being made of Cordura nylon. They are available in many colors and camo patterns including the new one shown here, TrueTimber New Conceal. We also are introducing a new line of ripstop ponchos that are xWide for those needing more coverage for long arms. The fabric in these is a honeycomb or hexagon ripstop weave, very sturdy yet light in weight. I also show a new cover fabric available as a choice on our Personal Survival Blankets, Realtree Xtra. A new stuff bag is introduced made of an unbelievably strong mesh fabric. Check all these things out in this video, while viewing some of the scenery. Thanks for watching.

there's another Prince and this was 13 timber conceal this is luke and feel just kind of got a little blend of kind of a little blend of all seasons on us and this particular poncho here is actually HD poncho so this thing is really tough great for walking to series like this this gnarly cedar and juniper and stuff with us dead branches sticking out and all that you're not going to hurt this thing so makes it pretty nice that way all right so this is the this your cordura nylon poncho and this was actually one of our signature series we give you some things that test that really could I really like anyway so this is a CSS el version that's the size of course as always comes with a couple takes a parachute cord and let me just flip it on and I'll tell you a little bit of some of the features this one being a signature series it includes already the hoodie pocket built in and of course the hoodie pockets like Solomon has a Velcro strip across all the way across this up has a d-ring in there so you can put things in their keys or nice or flashlight or whatever the other thing that all the signature series include instead of the regular snaps like this came here with the buttons on one side he's a double-sided snaps like we put on our under quilt and our fleece liners so putting that on this poncho means I've got some more options and how I snap this up turning into lady more of a sleeping bag type setup if I want to also this allows me to snap other Poncho's to this one so besides it being HD it's also signature series which gives us some extra option you

well so knife set up patacho is a nice little overhead shelter I've got a pretty good bit of room in here I've got a pretty good bit of overhead space as well so anyway I could be under here and be just fine I've used these before put it down low enough to where I'm almost on the ground on the edges throw my blanket inside of here and sleep out a rainstorm sorry wave this is one of many many ways you could set this thing up as a tarp now there's 12 tie out tabs all the way around the outside edges and they're also in no grommets so I mean it's a nice dirty little deal this thing also i will make into a hammock and i'll show you that right now what get in here you only got going on nice and comfortable well throw myself a comfortable rest right here a poncho made out of our new 2.1 to 2.2 honeycomb weave fabric rips tough and this is this is in our this is in our X wide series and so I just want to put this thing on and show you what it looks like and where you can kind of get a get an idea how it looks on okay so here it is on as you can three looks just like our other plexus the difference is the differences you see it goes clear down to my wrist where are other ones come up come up a regulars come up here a little farther two or three inches higher and this one does so gives me this gives me two and a half to three inches more more length doing it when I send out like this which also makes it a little bit deeper of a deeper that you're laying in when you're set up as a hammock also fiuza as a type of course and you know it can cover just a little bit more area so all in all it's the same kind of pot joke does everything all of our ponchos do but adds just a little bit of whip to it looking for an X wide that's what I'm talking about right here X Y will look in five or six inches wider stretched out like this it's almost exactly three inches lighter from the coyote out for the edge of the OD x wide here I want to show you the honeycomb pattern it's basically that pattern adds some pattern add some dimensional stability the fabric so the honeycomb was woven out of 2.2 ounce thread so so you're actually getting a quite a bit beefier set up in here weaving all that in there it's dirty it's tough you know I can and I can work my way through stuff like they're all that you know I'm not going to really don't have that much to worry about so that makes this thing really for almost no extra weight really other than you have a little bit bigger size you're getting a poncho it's considerably stronger so we really like that idea we've got about nine different colors

you

those are here again and this particular spot here is made up of all juniper trees and pinion pine I got a new blanket cover I want to show you a new pattern we've got and as available will be available for you to get so here we are nice little nice little deal this thing's cozy the ground in here is pretty pretty sandy so it's you know it's pretty soft to lay on so I could just tell you throw down just like this right here and six of the night no problem at all I pack it all up they want to show you these these mesh bags see we gotta that is the one heavy heavy duty measurement these are not these are not your grandma's messenger these things are tough as nails and really like it because they're tough and they're very breathable switch hands and they have a little bit of grip to them so when you're you're stuffing your blanket in there it doesn't it doesn't try to come back on you like with the sum of the slipper your fabrics reviews yeah there we are zip it up there we're gonna go right there
