Tangle Free Cord Winding

Description

There's nothing more frustrating, especially when you are in a hurry, than having cordage get all tangled when you start unraveling it for making shelter. We show how to wind it for tangle free deployment. And incidentally all our cord comes pre-wound like this.

sir all right here you go am I in it looks like it's pointed that way perry peacock here with willingness innovation with a little little tip or a little something that we give you that probably most other people don't when you buy gear from us from from them and that is with our with our poncho survival shelter which of course is our our poncho it can be a poncho a hammock a tarp can be a couple different styles of chairs it can be a super shelter a lot of different things you can do with it and but it comes with a couple Hanks a parachute cord in it our tarps come with five Hanks a parachute cord in them and one of the cool things about it is is we actually give you a little something extra when you when you do when you do get the cord from us like like for example if you ever you ever had cord wound up and you try to pull it out like this ins started getting all tangled up on me now and then you get it usually doesn't go that bad but anyway you know what I mean it's like that anyway we we actually take the extra step with you and we wind all the court that we give you in a figure eight that way and you'll notice the tag came off of this and there's a little tag on on one of the tanks a parachute cord you'll get that says pole and so you pull on that end because wound in a figure eight like this I can pull it all out of here no tangles and that's really handy for me because half the time when I go camping I'm i'm setting up in the dark so so that's a good feature and it's it's a little extra that a lot of people aren't even aware that we do for people but it makes it really nice if you're setting up in bats are stats are in the dark or whatever you're not worrying about your core getting all tangled as you undo it to use it so let me show you let me just show you how we have a winder in our shop that winds it that way but let me show you how we do it when you're out in the field to rewind it back up in a figure eight alright so let me show you how how to wind the figure eight when you're in the field if you've been in the military you already know I'm sure but so anyway so this how i do it i put the end this is the end i'm going to pull on undo it i put that through my these two fingers like this they take my thumb and my little finger and and then I just go like this so what I'm doing is you see I'm making figure eights so I just make a series of figure eight I just keep going to get close to you in here and now when I've got about this much left over then I take that take my things out and let this in hang out then I grab grab the Hank like this and I start whining now that the very first lined is important is what you want to do is a crossover so we're going to cross over that loop right there you see so what that does that lock this thing so it doesn't come undone on you and then we just keep winding like this when i get so i've only got enough to go around one more time i put my thumb in there and i go around that leaves me a little hole a little loop and i pull that up through there cinch that down tight so now that won't come undone on me and when i get ready to use it again i just take this in right here just pull it out no tangles tangle free right there so now you know how to so now you know how to how to wind your cord up in a figure eight when you get done and now if you didn't know it already you know that your cord comes from us with a figure eight already wound in it so it's ready to go
