hi everyone got a little bit of a new feature for the channel today and what I'm going to start doing and as much as I can in the futures i'm going to start filling some book reviews or for you the reason wanted to do this is there's not many book reviews out there to do watercraft in video form up which is my TV or anything like me you'll prefer things in video and somebody actually speaking to it rather than just written review so the book i'm going to be looking at today is one of the first books I got what I starts out learning horse craft and I'm going to be looking at brain is wild food it's a brilliant book as you can see is well formed and it goes really nicely with the TV human series that was also the same title it's a nice companion guide to go with it so it's not just ray mears it's Gordon Hillman who's archaeal archeo botanist and the looking at all kinds of wild foods it's not just plants and plants and fungi here it's a range of wild foods it's not exactly the most comprehensive book on each individual table while food that's available but it's absolutely fantastic fantastic what to get me started so it's nice and pocket size and fits up quite nicely in a pouch or add a putt it's full color throughout with lots of information really really nice pictures in there it's not got through just from Britain it's got food from around the world and it looks at hunter-gatherer stuff which is quite a thing close to my heart as I started out actually in archaeology it's got information on the plants and things that are edible but the thing I really like about this book is the fact that it doesn't just show you the ones that are edible it gives you all the uses for things it shows you how to prepare them and it does even a couple like little recipes and ways to prefer the blue you as well so I'll do in the description of this video I'll throw out the eye as ppm and that's actually focal throughout absolutely goes to all the seasons yeah I'll throw the ISP n number of it ESPN sorry and I'll show you where to get it online and i think the recommended retail price of this book on the back here in the UK is 1499 and the publisher is it spot of publishing so yeah that's ray mears wild food absolutely brilliant if you if you're interested in getting into porogen and campfire cooking i do recommend getting out and have a little walk in this poor brilliant thank you for watching guys
