How to make home made firelighters from cotton

Description

In this video, Fozz of Forrester Bushcraft demonstrates how to make home made fire lighters. These firelighters are made using melted wax and cotton balls or pads, this simple process involves dipping the dry pads into melted wax and then allowing them to dry.

These firelighters or 'bushbuddies' are very quick simple and cost effective to make. They make perfect tinder for wet weather conditions or high wind conditions, they also make fire lighting extremely easy when you kindling is damp.
