hi guys and what I've got here for you today is another kit review and today I'm going to be reviewing this which is the more a knife companion now this is an absolutely fantastic piece of kit I cannot fault it at all it's made in Sweden it's a carbon steel blade and the they cost around I think between 16 and 20 pounds to buy depending on where you get it from you can get them online and most good camping stores will stop me they're absolutely fantastic so let's have a look at the knife to start with the blade it's about 3 inches wide and about 6 inches long maybe five inches I'm not so good with my measurements it comes with a phenomenally sharp blade on the grind on this is absolutely fantastic and it keeps on edge really really well this one's a brand new one I use them at work quite a lot and that's have a bit of a closer look at it so the grinder that comes with it comes with a scandi grind Babel which is just a straight kind of this diet this shape bevel it's at 25 degrees and that spending grind bevel have I mentioned a couple my other videos it's really really handy you sacrifice a small bit of sharpness for it and lose its edge a little bit quicker than other grinds but it's absolutely fantastic because it means that you can sharpen it really easy because then the angle is really easy to get so all you do is you put the knife on your wet stone or you're sharpening your sharpening plate and you just tilt it so at that bevel is flat against it and you slice along really really easy if you're quite you tenuta knives and maintaining your tools that's the blades carbon steel blade it stumped with the Mora Mora logo it stays on it that its carbon steel now the handle again is great comes a real nice color this kind of cocky green with a black grip on it now the black part of this handle is rubberized it's really really grippy you're not going to slip on that at all even in wet conditions that's going to be really fantastic the shape of it is nice it's really comfortable to hold the blade itself is quite wide so you can get your hand behind it and really push if you need to it's a great knife just for doing all kinds of different bits and pieces really really good for whittling all kinds of stuff so that's the knife now the shoot that it comes in is one of these it's a plastic sheath which has the more logo on it really really hard really really tough sort of plastic I will put a note at the end of it is a specific type of plastic cap and what it is that made in Sweden it does stay stuntin the but made in Sweden Swedish knives or Scandinavian knives rather are the best you can get and like a lot of the ones that come in these plastic cheese there is a hole at the bottom and that hole is really really useful because if you're out in wet weather or you drop it into a river of something I'm not sure how you'd manage that but you know these things do happen it means the water can drain out of it really really easily the belt clip on it is absolutely fantastic and what I'll do is I'll stick it on a belt now i'll show you how nicely it hangs off your belt nice secure nice and safe okay so i'll do that now for you stick that back in there it stays in there nice and tight it's not rocking around anywhere as you can see and it comes out reasonably easily as well as you can see i had to pull a little bit there that's always a good sign because you don't want this dropping out of your your sheath while you'll walk around and doing stuff so i'll just click that onto my belt lower next to my other knife clips on really sturdy so there you go you can see it sits really nicely to your hip it's not rocking around you can move around reasonably quickly with that and to get it out nice and simple this is that ok so thank you for watching guys as always give me a like and a share and subscribe and if you want to see me reviewing anything please let me know drop me a comment or send me a video response and thank you for watching please check out my blog forest of bushcraft wordpress com thanks guys
