hi guys what I got for you today is a sixth technique in ten things you can do with a wall bike and today what I'm gonna be showing you is how you can turn your wall blanket into a really simple stretcher or carrier it's a dead simple technique it's really really useful I was quite shocked when I saw this working myself so I'll show it to you guys now it's really cool so what need it is my wall blanket obviously and the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna set it out completely flat on the ground so lay it out lengthways and then what I'm going to do the work out which way it's longer so I know it's longer this way the to read size of my blanket show me which of the shorter sides and the first thing that I need to do is I need to make this adjust it into the correct position so take my stick and measure out which is the best way to do this so I need to actually make this ever so slightly smaller I'm just gonna fold over these two edges a couple of inches do that both sides okay so that's the correct size that I need it now the next thing I need to do is need to work out how wide I want my stretcher so don't it too wide I don't want it too narrow so I think this is probably gonna be about the right distance apart here so we're flat stick there and that stick here okay so this section is gonna form the bed of the stretcher it's probably gonna be a little bit short for a person but you make do with what you've got I probably should have rearranged the blanket in the other direction but let's just see how this works out for you so the next thing I wanna do is need to fold those two sides in over themselves okay so there's glue mean note ie or anything involved with this no cord it's just two sticks and the blanket and what's going to happen as all these sides get folded over they're going to hold and hold each other in place using friction so the weight of whatever is on this is gonna hold it all into place so now that is effectively the structure constructed so I can put something that weighs something on there and lift it off it's gonna be fine so I haven't got a third person with me what I have bought is a weighted backpack so it's got some rocks stuff in it some bits and pieces it is weighty obviously not the same way as an actual person but I can guarantee this would work with a person on top of it as well so I'll pop the but the backpack on this into the earth and then I can get camera run Dave to come and help me demonstrate this I will show you how it works so you can get outside around so you can see see that's really you can bounce that up and down there's quite a bit of weight in there that's not going to come undone so you could quite easily get a person into this stretcher comfortable is gonna keep nice and warm keep them off the ground if you need to get somebody out in emergency it's gonna work really well now the great thing about this technique is that you don't have to use it as a stretcher there's quite a few different applications for this my favorite application first is if you're getting quite a big fag when you do some cooking caucus umbrella whatever you can actually fill this with logs and carry them really simply with two people rather making loads of trips backwards and forwards where your supply of wood is so making a like this a really good idea I recommend trying it it's really cool it's so simple as well thank you for watching guys
