hey guys what I've got for you today is I'm going to show you how use a sheer lashing to make a tripod all I've got to do this is short ish length of paracord and three sticks all of roughly the same length so a walking stick a piece of birch on a piece of dry spruce bark just cut so we'll just get the camera rear re angled now for you so you can see how to do this it's very very simple one to do okay so to start this not all we do is we make a clove hitch on the piece of wood that is on our left hand side if you don't know how to do a clove hitch do get on my channel and check out the video video that I've done on the clove hitch or pull that tight too soon slide that close fits down so that this is going to be my working area on those sticks then we start it's kind of like a weave so you got to go so I'm starting on the top of this one and then I'm going underneath this one over the top of the one on the far right and then back under it then over this one and under that one so as you can see that will start to alternate and I want to do this about three times or more if you're building a larger tripod or doing anything else with this particular lashing over and under keep going over under and then that gives me one two three one two three one two and then around again so this one will end up with four on it because what I'm going to do now is so I that will still still stay with three on it what I'm going to do now instead of going underneath this stick I'm going to go underneath here were those that we've is connected so and this bit is called wrapping and what this does is it pulls all of this tight however I pull it a little loose just to show you on the video so I'm going to have a slightly loose tripod well that was just for the video so pull that tight then I'm going to go over the central stick through the middle there and do the same on this side just a couple of times and there we go that's the actual lashing finished so i'm just going to finish this off the clove hitch just like so and that is the app the whole not finished so once you have your finished what you don't want to do is just lift it up but not the top start to spread those sticks out like so and you have quite a nice quiet just all try for third so these sticks are slightly odd size but if I wanted to I could bring it round to count for the floor things around me or where my fires going it's very very nice but it's much better than using a static a shop or tripod because they don't have the adjustable legs there you go this can also be using shelter building

that the survival shelter using this novel and there you go that's the sheer lashing thank you for watching guys as always give me a like and a subscribe subscribe sorry and keep watching thanks
