hi everyone and I'm out filming my next installment for my getting started in bushcraft series which is proven to be really popular but I just thought I'd take this opportunity to give you guys a little bit of a channel update and kind of you know keep you in the loop with what going on on what I've got got planned so my getting started in bushcraft series that has proven to be really really popular so I'm going to really push ahead with that I mean it's proving to be massively popular in terms of you know other videos that I've done on the new ones I'm doing so I'm going to push ahead with that and I'm hoping people still enjoying it at the same time as this has gone up a but also put my third one witches you know considerations with violating which was just a lot of me talking at the camera and rather than doing demonstrations as I say in the video i wanted to say the demonstration to give each thing its own have dedicated video and if people didn't you know didn't find any interest when you use anything i do comment do let me know at the end of the day everything i'm doing here is for you guys to try push a bit of knowledge towards you guys and you know also gain some stuff off of you as well and a lot of people have commented about my 10 things do the war blanket series and i've not stopped doing that you know I'm a word that I've stopped at a think six I've still got some more to do but I've had a couple of problems with finding new locations and having to be moved around basically there's people everywhere and it's difficult to film some of the longer videos I have now secured to really really useful sites for doing that so I'm going to get on and do that in the next couple of week and get weeks and get that that series finished off its get my fire a bit of blowitz it's an old fire and it's kind of burning out it's on to just the embers now and II so all the stuff that I've got going on you may have seen already that I'm doing a couple of collaborations already started one of them with pigs last series is my best my best buddy who's trying to lose a bit away and I kind of put the suggestion to him that being outdoors and and doing bushcraft and doing actual fun stuff is far better than just you know standing for hours

on a treadmill in a gym and for me and in terms of this channel what we're going to be looking at through that collaboration is I'm going to be looking at the sort of wider possibilities in bushcraft you know what are the benefits can you get from it other than just to study if you're the natural world and I'm trying to get him to you know be a bit more outdoors and you know it's kind of an experiment to show people that even the least outdoorsy people can actually find something out here I don't understand it when people say they don't like the outdoors it really is every word and to me it's a it's a fundamental part of life and I think we can all benefit from spending a bit more time outdoors the other collaboration that and we'll be doing is with my my other half Olivia who's just started a channel she's one of my recommended channels up here somewhere of you on the on the right page it's called a flying olive what her channel is she's really avid cook so most of our videos are going to be kitchen based cookery and stuff like that really really good food i do recommend if you like if you get over there and try something out most of its really simple to make some of it's a little bit more complex but what we're going to be doing together is looking more at types of food that you can a either make at home and then take out into the into the woods with you or be she's going to come out with me and we're going to experiment with cooking a few meals on the fire mainly to show people well for my part I want to show people you know there's there's more you can do on a fire than just cooking a steak or heat up a bit pasta you know you don't have to eat bad food when you're out in the woods you know and it's just to kind of open up again some of those possibilities of things you can do with bushcraft so there are my collaborations a change for the channel that I've been wanting to talk about for a while is I'm taking a step away from doing kit reviews and the reason for that one moments need to check the camera beeping at me yeah we're good yeah the reason I'm wanting to take a step away from kit reviews is in my opinion kit isn't really anything to do with bushcraft there is bushcraft and there is gay and then you know they meet somewhere in the middle and honestly there's hundreds of channels out there who focus mainly on on kit reviews and you know you don't meet need me to do it to be doing another one kit doesn't interest me that much you know there's a few bits and pieces that I'm quite fanatical about who i like i like axes but that is kind of to me that's a separate hobby to my bushcraft yes I use my axes in bushcraft but the two are still separate what I will be doing is occasionally I'll be throwing up a video they'll found a piece of kit that I really enjoy using i'll do a recommendation of it and the reason i'm calling at recommendation rather than a review is if you watch through my other kit reviews everything always gets a glowing shining review and the reason for that is I don't taik rubbish stuff out with me so everything gets a good review and the next recommendation I'm going to be doing at some point after I'm a bit more of a play to make sure it is a recommended piece of kit is this tomahawk and but it's a recommended review recommended kit piece rather a review because i'm looking more at the style of the tool rather than the actual brand make and model of the tour book so far I'm pretty impressed with it that being said you know if people want to see if people have questions about the bits and pieces that i'm using feel free to drop me a comment and i will go out and I'll film a video on it for you you know I'm not I'm not above doing kit reviews it just doesn't interest me personally that much and to be honest a lot of people have said it's really good that I focus mainly on school stuff and they really enjoy that it's a change and to me you know i'm interested in learning new skills and showcasing new skills and demonstrating things to people that's what I'm about on this channel so I hope that's okay with people if people want me to carry on doing the kit reviews you know this channel is all about what you guys want to see rather than what i want to do so if you want all the kit reviews Xiao up and I'll quite happily do them but to be honest I don't really want to spend you know all my wages on my earnings on on kit I'd rather spend it on going to new places so that's pretty much what's going on at the minute with with the channel do you think I can't move as I mentioned it is my 10 things to do with a wool blanket thing a few people have commented about when I'm going to finish that off i think i've only got six or seven videos on that in a minute the reason I've kind of put that to the side is as i've had some issues with with locations for filming i've got tons of place place where i can go out and do bushcraft but in terms of filming and get nice locations need to make you know pretty videos basically I've struggled a little bit but I've now secured two really good locations to do that and then we'll be cracking on with that in the next couple of weeks and getting that finished off for you I'm really sorry about the whole upon that but it's just it's just one of those things you know and also as well as a bit of an update i wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who's continuing to watch my channel and and support the channel you know coming up two fighters to four thousand subscribers now and it's getting there really quickly really really quickly in terms of what has gone before you know the comments are stuff for flying in and getting loads of them and getting people on my facebook you know i'm on all the social media you know get over follow but I've got instagram facebook photo bushcraft Facebook page I'm obviously YouTube which is what what born now on tumblr I show bits and pieces on there i'm on pinterest right i put odds and ends up so you know get over there and have a lot there's different things on there it's not just my videos you know i put other bits and pieces up as and when i'm at the computer which brings me to the next point and get a lot of comments on my videos which is absolutely fantastic and i can assure you that i do read them all however i'm getting that many that i simply don't have the time to reply to each and every one that's over if you drop me a comment and i'm not replied to it please don't be offended by that i have read it and I have taken whatever you said on board I'm still trying to reply to all if not most of them but quite often I'll get three people will comment asking the same question i vant I've answered it once and it's usually quite lengthy reply lai don't like to just cut and paste so you know if you've left me a comment and it's been a week and I haven't replied you know just have a look through the others and check out see if I want answered your question or query or whatever usually I'll hit like on the mall I mean some of the comments or criticisms some of them good all of this stuff is great for me I actually really like it when people come up with constructive criticism you know it helps me to learn things I don't know everything so if you see me doing something you think there's a better way of doing it please do comment please be friendly irritates me the other bit a couple of people who have put kind of harsh comments on which is a little bit disheartening a little bit straight in and the other thing is if you're going to dislike the video don't just hit dislike on it I'm not bother about having the dislikes hit that dislike button if you don't like the video but please leave me a comment and let me know why if you don't let me know why you've disliked it I can't improve the content for you this is an this is a learning curve for me as well and that being said I do really appreciate all the support every view every like share and comment it's really genuinely genuinely kind of humbling in a way that people are being like this and you know I really do appreciate it and I know that that's kind of that feels a bit like a stock answer me go oh yeah thanks great guys but honestly I really do appreciate all the help and support that people giving me an all the feedback it's it's a really big confidence boost for me I didn't think the channel would ever go this far so but that's really good as always please thank you all for watching you know it's as I've said it's really appreciated please keep giving me the feedback the people who do the you know always give me a comment always give me a like and I sure you guys know who you are thank you very much it's really appreciated I'm not in this to get famous I'm not in this to just have a massive channel with loads of subscribers the reason I want extra subscribers is it's more people contribute contribute into the channel that way you know you guys contribute to it just as much as I do when people give me suggestions and ideas I can then go out and and put those suggestions ideas into practice and it helps me to learn things as well you know I've learned a lot through doing this through what people have said so that is really appreciated so thank you all for watching thank you all for your support and please please do stay tuned in and please keep dropping those comments and stuff in thank you all very much practicing throwing it before I repro pilot

and don't worry the tree is dead
