Oh

hi guys I've got another little kit review for you today and today I'm going to be reviewing a pair of these I'm just really use one for the video because I'm actually got the other one on my foot and what these are you see the logo there these are sealskinz waterproof glove what proof socks these are the finished range you can get the really nice very very warm very very comfortable to wear the line with marina lining like all of their products and then so I'm getting it allowed by midges here so like all of their products they've got the three-tier build upon them they've got the Marino's the marina wolf lining which is very very comfortable and quite warm then in the middle they've got their waterproof membrane and then they've got the usual kind of nylon polyester cover on the outside these socks are absolutely fantastic I highly recommend them and here is why for one they're completely waterproof or the past few days we've had some absolutely horrific weather you can probably see behind me now it's clear skies what the floor under ground under wonder fort is still very very Sodom and over the past two days I've been outdoors it's been really really hammer it down I don't have the world's most waterproof boots then you better prepare and let me just show you something and the boots that I've been wearing these socks him look at that I've got a big old hole in there so I should be socks on and my feet have stayed completely dry more so than if I wasn't actually because they are breathable which is a big sign product for the sealskins waterproof range really breathable and they genuinely are my feet haven't got sweaty they don't get their hand got and smelly which is a big thing you go out for a few days if you've got you've got sort of your your dirty underwear and stuff in the bag it does start to get a bit smelly you can't get a chance to wash it these socks are fantastic and really genuine warp I'll demonstrate just how waterproof in a moment another thing I would like to say about these socks one of the reasons I really really rate them is in terms of bushcraft if you are going somewhere we know it's going to be wet i was very likely to be wet and I don't like take one hundred percent waterproof boots me because if you step into a large deep put muscle in all that water get into the boot or if you have to cross a river or something that boot is going to take a very long time to dry because that air that that water can't get out of the boom so having a slightly less waterproof boot is quite good but you have to put with having wet feet for the day these socks will keep your feet dry even the boot is wet plus if you have a few pairs of them even if the sox that you're wearing do get wet you can quickly whip off your shoes and socks dry your feet off back a bit at alcon switch the socks out turn them inside out to let all that water out they'll dry out nice and quickly and you can carry them around quite easy aspire easy to carry five pairs of socks and is to carry two pairs of boots great great piece of kit they also come in a range of thicknesses now I tend to go for the thinner thickness because i were thick woolen socks underneath them just to kind of reduce weight and stuff and I do like to wear a pair of socks underneath these hours were two pairs of socks anyway but you could quite happily they're quite comfortable you can we could wear them on their own if you really wanted to but that's not for me I tend to get blisters my dome so let's look at how waterproof they are and will quickly turn this inside out and what I'm going to do is going to fill it with water so look at what here try not to get it all over the outside so I'm just got it hopefully you can see that starting to fill up there okay so what's that that is a sock filled with water there's quite actually quite a lot of water and there it's quite a lot of pressure in there there's no dampness whatsoever that's all you can see no water coming through that walls stay in staying dry it has got a bit cold but you know it's filled with cold water what you're going to expect let's have a look at the heel the heel is the bit in stocks which tends to go there's no water coming through there and just to prove that I'm not lying with me outside hi there is honestly water in there and here it is coming out there you go so the outside layer does absorb some of that water you have to be aware of that but it does that met that in a membrane doesn't let any through it doesn't absorb a ton of water so have a look I'll just go ring this out for you there you go that's been fill with water and that's going to dry off really quickly but the inside is dry that's the important thing and a little feature about these are late they have around the mid part of the foot here they have a tiny bit of elastic ation it for support which is fantastic I have real trouble with my feet and worrying wearing socks with that little bit of extra support and is really helpful especially when you're hiking and stuff the pretty easy to wash the washing instructions are on the tag each each pair of socks has one tag on one sock it's not absolutely problem branding which really appeals to me a hater and things are necessary branded example as great as this water bottle is it's covered in brandon really gimmicky a lot of fun of that these socks the pretty and the same goes for the gloves you know they don't stand out you know they're not covered in names and it's a really good company and i will actually recommend have a look at the company the very honest genuine company double check on my website is quite an interesting read so I want this shot back on still lovely and dry inside a little bit cool that's not a problem whack my boot on with the hole in it and there you go that is the sealskins waterproof walk through songs they are fantastic seriously if you're into the outdoors particularly overall from autumn and winter are playing an over particularly north on winter get some of these sorts of fantastic it also means you can were slightly warmer less waterproof boots with them particularly snow i love them in slow so sometimes you get these kind of suede for the line boobs will be comfortable all those like the water it to no end the great a one last thing about them my favorite thing about these socks particularly view into your hammer King or what I come from for him for that matter you can sleep in them which you can't really do with your boots which is a bit of a lot of thing to say but if you think about it if you have to get up to go to the toilet or whatever in the middle of night I hate them to shove my boots on it's a right pain it's a proper faff you've got to take them all you going to put them on the dart take them off again get back into hammock these socks pull them all stick them on title off do whatever it is you've got to do take them off hang them up on the guitar they'll dry out overnight you've got dry fee perfect can't go wrong thank you for watching up
