just gonna walk up the up the train a little bit because there's so many dead trees yeah well we came up in elevation away from the water at the bottom of this valley and the trees opened up like I thought they would in terms of hazzard trees is definitely definitely a better better area a lot about a birch out of blackbirds I'm thinking at this point well maybe hug this contour head head down the valley a little bit and then just bust down towards the water explore where is down there at this point I think we're just gonna it's gonna head down towards the water check out the riparian area the alluvial what fine

check out that bark over there it looks different up close back when we saw it I don't know 15 feet away it really looked at this crazy crosshatch and lay and just completely different pattern than the normal bark on the tree but up close it doesn't look is as a different I guess something there about perspective right and being able to take a step back and see things differently look at that there's some philosophy for you

there's some Eastern hemlocks over there I think you're just going to head that direction find a little stands doing get some cover get a sip of water still enroute to the stand of hemlocks but there's this really cool moss growing on this down log and i just want to point out and i just want to come investigate a little bit closer whoa see the sporophytes out of these guys reproduce or girls or I don't think they're sex-specific are they a little field of sporophytes deer poop well we made it to the hemlocks right by the water this nice little stream you just want to get a drink of water maybe snack on something I look for a place to sit down there I'm just going to head up this way

just got a drink of water I'm feeling a little tired I know Stoney's as well so i think i'm just gonna make some coffee get some energy back in the old the old engine but this isn't really an ideal spot it's really nowhere to sit comfortably it's really rocky and it's super overgrown so I'm just going to keep moving and look for a better place to plop the old meets eat this spot looks like it will work okay some of these Jagger's out of the way and start making some coffee that's not going to work that would was to rot enough look for something a little bit better it's going to feather a little bit nicer

these little falling stoves are super convenient nice and I really like using them but the same principles go as starting a normal campfire just on the ground is that you have to prepare I'm a little tired right now and I really don't feel like doing this but I know if I don't take my time get the materials I need this isn't going to start just going to annoy me to no end I'm just going to try to use fat would they get this fire going I'll products use a lighter too I'll just I'm not in the mood to deal with anything right now so I just want to try to take a little sliver off see if I can do it perfect this tip should just go up with a hold of flame really well and I can just pop that in the stove I'll probably get another one just for prudence e as far as going pretty well right now I'm just going to keep messing with it pushed it down get some fuel on it and and get the pot ready get some water on here because I am thirsty for some coffee

I might have a fallen by the end of this video okay oh that's not funny the water's on it's really close to boiling but I don't have to boil it today because this is drinking water we had enough left over I'm from what we brought out today for the sake of the taste of this coffee I don't want to dump boiling water right on top of these freshly ground beans I want to let that cool down I'll maybe give a 30 seconds a minute just let it cool down so it doesn't burn any flavor into her coffee spill a little bit shy warm some more water up at this point just found two tix crawling on me and it's what if the getting of March the already back out all right but seriously I want to press this coffee sit down enjoy it back up you
