hey what's up Turtles Creek here with blackout outdoors I'm gonna join the modern movement now and do an EDC pocket dump I've never done this before or shared it with you or really in any medium so what I want to do is just go through everything I carry pretty much every single day one my body okay so starting off in my right pocket today I have the Kershaw blur and obviously not obviously the pocket knife will change cuz I have a lot of them right but the reason why I brought the blur to share with you today because it's the best deal on any pocket knife I have and this is the s30v steel for the blur because sometimes if I'm working I'll need a knife accessible for a one-handed opening not always I have other options only if I don't need the convenience of a one-handed opening but I really like the blur like I said because of the better steel quality moving over to my left front pocket is where I usually have my cell phone and this is the iPhone 6s I'm not exert exactly which Otterbox case this is I think it might be the commuter let me know I'm sure some of you know exactly which one this is it's worked well for me this is I think my second otterbox I've had I had one from HTC and I'm really happy with it

this is the two-piece design you have this sort of soft malleable rubber for shock absorption and then you have the harder plastic on the back and reaching over some of the sides so the reason I carry a cell phone obviously is communication and for business I have that I use it for photography snapping quick pictures directions there's also a light on the phone as much as I sometimes don't want to carry it I most times need to alright moving on now I have a couple items on my belt in here a Victoria Knox field master and this is a wet form that I made for it a while ago and I really like that it's showing where it's got scuffs and scrapes I did a couple modifications to tighten up this top piece of leather which basically I just added some stitches from this sit row up in this area right here just to tighten it and this thing is in there very very tight I've never had this come out on its own

I put a little lanyard on that just to make it convenient I mean I just want to grab it quick it's a piece of leather with some wax thread that I whip stitch across that and this is the Victorinox field master and there's are so many tools on it it's a classic tool we've done a video specifically on this multi-tool so if you're not familiar with it or just want to its a multi-tool porn you can go check that video out but like I said I carry this everyday this is something that I don't change out the pocket knife sometimes I'll change but this stays on my belt everyday sitting next to that is another wet form sheath I made this one is actually older than this one but I have a Bic lighter riding in that and again that fits ridiculously tight see that sometimes the lighter will be in my pocket sometimes depending on the pants or what I'm doing at one on my belt I think we all know the importance of fire we've done an exposure test where we drop that bic lighter in the woods to show that you know it's a pretty reliable piece of gear I chose this one and Rogen's I anyone hashtag it you know bic lighters you could carry a Ferro rod but for the sake of I guess convenience and ease of use can't go wrong with the bic lighter all right looking at my keys now no pocket dumps complete without my rig keys you can see my key rings pretty bare and I made this Keira bean or two like I said I like things out of my pocket as much as I can I don't like having things all cramped in there just get a closer look I actually think I want to make some more of these and put them on my store because I've been using this one probably now for at least a year and a half and I've been completely happy with it everything about it you can put it over the belt just or on a belt loop as you

so but again let me know what should I add to my keyring and last item is my wallet and this is a wallet I made it was unfinished veg tan when I when I made it but now you see with where how much character that has the patina on it I really like it and the only thing I really carry in here that's worth mentioning are band-aids and they can get beat up pretty quick in the wallet so I'll change them out I would say on top of that and be diligent but just a little bit of medical supplies not really but definitely definitely worth it to have some band-aids on you I think so anyways so there you have it that's pretty much everything I carry every day and I think it's important to have tools and supplies on our body on our person because you just never know when you're gonna need a knife when you might need a screwdriver or a saw or a band-aid or a light you know the whole philosophy behind the everyday carry I don't know mentality if you will and I mentioned a few times already in the video but I really don't like having bulky things in my pockets and that really depends on from wearing shorts the the specific pants I'm wearing where things will be carried or arrests but I like things on my belt because a lot of the EDC and gear in general if it's not comfortable to carry or where you're not going to grab it or take it with you so it's really personal to each person how and what they carry because it's up to you what's comfortable or what's worth it that's why I have you know my multi-tool a lighter my keys on my belt just to keep my pockets not crammed if you feel inclined to leave a comment leave is the little list you know name things you carry if you want tag us on instagram if you do pocket dumps we're black outdoors on there you can tag us and I'll take a look at things you carry if you liked the video give a thumbs up it really helps us on YouTube it really does and I just like to thank everyone who's can continues to support us from the getting the new subscribers it really means a lot to my brother and I and I'm sort of constantly amazed and surprised that people really watch our videos and one to keep keep making them so till the next video this is correct with blackout doors later Turtles
