sup Turtles Creek here with blackout outdoors and today I'm going to be doing a view on the Maxpedition Falcon to backpack this is the OD green color combination and there are ten different color combinations available for the pack this the pack retails Maxpedition selling it for 150 $5.99 where you can find it a little bit cheaper online and it's a 25 liter bag but first what I'm keeping this it's you know really to me snugly securely is this one and a half inch hip belt which is comfortable comfortable one means and very effective and there also is a sternum strap which I don't have class right now but there's a one-inch sternum strap and before I get into the specs and in the details of the pack I just just want to mention that my first impressions of this bag as most people's are when you when you feel you touch you that this is a robust heavy heavy duty thorough bag and get into that now and start uh start explaining some of the things and as I mentioned about the hip belt and the sternum strap going on the bag just to help secure around the body there's these little weight tensioning straps that run on the on the shoulder pad on the shoulder straps that are attached to the bag I'm getting the camera if I'd the load on and I want to get this little tighter I just pull down this above my above me and then it'll get the weight more securely to me and this is a feature you really don't ever see on bags this small this is more reserved for bags of a bigger and carrying heavier with heavier loads and it's a nice little feature because like I said this bag is just super robust and it's meant you know I think just to be loaded and tested to its its its full potential all the time and this is a falcon to the second generation of the Falcon and Maxpedition line and the vast majority of the upgrades the improvements the changes with the Falcon 2 is this additional pals webbing making this bag completely Molly you know compatible all over and you see it running down the sides have a little bit right here front of the bag and the same sides inside and there's even some and some nylon on the shoulder straps up to here's a little little flashlight that has a green beam and then on each side of the bag there's two compression straps which essentially if I have less weight in the bag I can kind of cramp this up and pull it and really secure the weight that's in it or it can you know to expand out to the bags full volume and then I can attach stuff using these and there's two of these on each side and on the front there's this why compressions compression straps that was the same thing just at different load points or get stress points on the bag to help you get the load secure and tight nice feature this Y is a really nice feature so on the front of the bag as you can see from the angle there's two out exterior outside pockets on the bag and these are all YKK zippers and zipper tracks heavy-duty really strong and in this front larger of the exterior pockets there's a little bit of organizational capabilities with places to put smaller things to help keep you know things tidy neat and the zipper on me on this pocket any runs three quarters roughly three quarters of the size of the pocket above that the other external pocket small little knickknacks whatever you want map compass there's no extra organizational capabilities with a small pocket now the first of the main compartments of the bag right here and I'm showing this of how this does not come down the whole way like this other large main compartment I'll show you show you what that means in a little bit so this bag or this pocket opens up and there's Morgan ization okay capabilities these two mesh pockets one behind it and all these zipper pulls are 550 paracord now the main compartment of the bag the largest pocket zippers the whole way down to the bottom of the bag and what that allows you to do is to open up the whole entire bag and really get into it

mesh pocket on this side of the inside of the pocket sorry the other another mesh pocket only here with a zipper so until local organizing organizing and flipping the bag over so I get it closed up is the high for the hydration pouch goes this is combative compatible so I did slide in here then this is padded and down below here there's a little bit of velcro for a holster specific holster to go in here for a concealed carry for a firearm sidearm not sure how that's really gonna feel in the back of the lumbar if you're wearing a pack you have a firearm in here but it's possible and on the bottom here this reinforced rubber bottom for extra security when you always put the bag down on wet or dirty surfaces nice little extra feature you have these nylon straps for more capabilities of strapping stuff to the bag and this whole bag is is made of which aids aids in the lure the heavy weight of the bag it's over a thousand I think it's 1050 denier nylon which is super super thick rugged durable the bag weighs over three pounds and this is definitely adding to weight of the over the 1050 denier nylon and this is coated triple coated for abrasion and water resistance there's a Teflon coating on it

and you can get a close up here added extra strength because this is a really heavy bag on these extra stone these stress points which would be the handle these straps that I was mentioning to cinch the weight down connected to the shoulder straps there's the box and x4 for added strength and these are this is a little bit extra duty nylon thread higher tensile strength and just another little loop coming out here to attach something to you know this bag just pull these little features that really make it highly customizable on your end of how you want to strap things and really organize stuff in the bag and so being a 25 liter bag I'm going to put this in a category of add a pack size wise and you can use this whether depending and your style of camping to be an overnight bag if you wanted to you know really warm weather you're not contending with a lot of elements I could I could see this working but for me personally it's a little too small to do that and even has a day pack I just feel like it's just a little too small but that's made up for by the highly organizational capabilities of the pack with all the pockets the pals webbing all the straps you just little little things you can do to really tailor it to what you're carrying makes up for the size in my opinion but that probably my only gripe with the bag just a little too small because you know there's not one main compartment large main compartment to stop a lot of stuff it's broken down there to which you can organize really well but then it's just taken a lot of space in the large pocket you can stuff clothes extra things of that nature that's just my opinion some people might not find it an issue at all but this is the Maxpedition falcon to is creek sounding outback outdoors later turtles
