hey what's up Turtles Creek here and standing behind the camera we're out enjoying this really beautiful fall day obviously filming some videos as well but I just want to share a really quick tip with you that something we both do which is hang our bags from a tree to keep it off the ground and all you really need is a piece of string or rope and a spike piece of wood toggle you see right here

this is where I keep the wrap and this is a piece of leather I keep it in there so I already have a toggle my pocket but basically all I'm going to do it's not this this is about ten to twelve feet and I keep it doubled over on itself and you'll see all that but um keep a double it over on itself got an arm's-length double and a knot in one end figure eight knot I'm just gonna go around the tree and this is basically a loop in itself so the knotted end I passed the other end through that make sure this is that pine knot alright so I passed through the loop once right by the knot this point it's gonna pop my bag off and I just like to put my put my weight against the bag something B all we're trying to hold it in and do this all at the same time just put your weight against it and let me get this tight try explain this for us and then what I do because this is obviously pretty long compared to the diameter of this tree so I can just literally double this back up here's the end I can double this on itself and what I'm going to do at that point is just go under the handle like such and then when I pass this through I think this is a larks head I'm holding my thumb there now because I have the toggle in my pocket it's just just a stick I'll bring this meat off that pass through is that right no I did miss one but there's enough friction there isn't a friction air it doesn't matter I guess for the sake of cleanliness I'm just going to take this out just because I did miss one it's fine there's not a lot of weight on this I'll just redo it so double back up on itself and I four right there light starting to come take the loop and go behind all four this time not just three Sara ties that's goofy some things are just so difficult to do on camera all right there's my thumb go behind it hold the top now it's sitting down cuz I'm just taking too long talking to the camera I promise you it's a lot easier filming for the camera sometimes some things it just it's like you're doing surgery for the first time where I've never done it but you kind of get the point and that's all there is to it now it's off the ground and it's suspended easy to get into all the pockets zip zip zip zip you know easy to get into it's off the wet ground but I do want to show you the strap I mean to hold to hold the wrap and I made it out of leather

I made a made someone a belt and I had some leather left over so what I did is I thin this leather you can see there's like a thickness or there's a second little tab underneath the snap right here and this is a line 24 snap so the strongest ones I can get because I wanted this leather to be thinner so it wrapped tighter around the hank right there but I need it thicker because these are heavier dude here snaps so I just put a tab there and you know spacer to it agreed to give it mmm to make it thicker there for the post to go through from the snap and that's really all there is to it obviously you snap it over and that rides right there real convenient oh my shoulder stab that's really all there is to it and once you started doing a couple times you can learn just get it up really quick so just a little quick tip sharing with you today so I hope everyone else is enjoying the fall weather until next video says Creek with black out later Turtles
