it was up Turtles creek here with blackout outdoors so it's been a while and I kind of feel slightly nervous being in front of the camera again some of you have noticed that we haven't uploaded a single video in the month of January and that's because basically we wanted to just take a deep breath sort of gather ourselves you know after the crazy part of the year the holidays and all that so while we haven't been active on YouTube we've been just as active as we always are on our other social media platforms being an Instagram in our Facebook and Twitter and Tumblr so if you're on social media go ahead and check us out on those platforms so some updates concerning blackout supply which is our store the design has been revamped by Stern II which he has always done a great job and he looks better now I think that it has in the past but the beanies are back in stock now the same exact beanies we've been selling before OD green black made in the USA the tags are all handmade by me they're leather tags I saw them on every single hat that's purchased so they're back in stock right now price is twenty dollars that includes shipping inside the US for the spring we want to have t-shirts available some of the gray black out t-shirts are still in the store they've been reduced whatever's there has been reduced price but we're thinking we want to have black now blackout T's will be available available for the spring not just black out T's they will be a black tea and sort of last update concerning the store is that we're going to start selling some of our handmade goods that's going to be private in the form of something you know concerning leather or some of the wooden handles I've been making for fair rod stuff like that that you've seen in videos we've done so there's any particular items you'd be super interested in purchasing from us or want to see us make you really appreciate it you know leave a comment let us know what does know what you'd like to see from us moving on to blackout camp which is our website we really want that to be a resource and not just another place where our videos are being displayed which all their videos are there they're all organized on our website we want to be more of a resource and how we want to do that's a few different ways but first what we're bringing back if you will or the recommendations via Stoney recommendations or movies or songs or artists that he really enjoys in addition to the recommendations we want to build and have started to build a library section of the site and what that looks like right now is a list of wilderness living schools and a list of suggested outdoor YouTube channels and these lists are not finalized and so what I'm asking from you is to go look at those lists and tell us who else should be there whether it be you know like I said a wilderness living school or an outdoor YouTube channel that you really like that we have not put in the library yet so if you're on the site and score the bottom you'll see our amazon store and we are an affiliate to amazon most of the things we've reviewed or a lot of things that we've reviewed and videos on videos on there are links there and what that does it just helps support us if you use those links and then purchase the item through amazon we get a percentage like I said goes directly to us and help support the channel for us to continue to grow and do the things we have planned and the last batch of updates for today's video or concerning videos our youtube channel black owl outdoors a lot of people have asked us to do overnighters or do camping trips and we've heard you we've listened we've been trying to figure out the logistics of that which is why you really haven't done it yet and we feel confident in our ability to do that now so we really want to make a concerted effort between stony and I to do overnighters and trips this year the overnighters are probably going to be in close proximity of where we are in Pennsylvania but for the trips we want to sort of go up and down the eastern seaboard or that's sort of our our area of travel if you will the hot spots were thinking about right now our Adirondacks in New York the White Mountains in New Hampshire a KD n main and then point south the Appalachian mountain range in the Smokies anything like that so if you have suggestions of places you'd like to see us travel to or in general places you think we should see let us know also this year in video format you want to get back to our roots so the reason we started Black ow outdoors in the first place is because we love outdoors and I know all of you watching us feel the same exact way regardless of what you're doing if you're outside it's better it really is so our sort of first attempt or not first but attempted that last year was coffee on the ridge which is just a video being out in the woods enjoying ourselves outdoors and trying to film it really well to present it to you so it's something we really are going to again focus on for this upcoming year also we're going to be introducing some new style of videos on the channel and that's going to be basic shop videos if you will it's going to be me inside working on whether it's leather or making wood handles for fair rods or knives or anything like that that we sort of done videos on in the past of things I made enough people have expressed interest to see sort of how I do it in my method because they want to learn you want to learn and I want to share it I really do I learned a lot through trial and error and it would bring me a lot of pleasure honestly to share things I've learned and inspire other people

to make things for themselves well that's all the updates I have for you today it felt like a lot felt like i was saying a lot but don't worry everything we've already been doing in the past it's still going to stay on the channel everything i mentioned is just in addition to things we've already been doing so don't fret we're still testing gear we're still researching gear you will see gear reviews and everything else you've already been doing this is correct with blackout outdoors later turtles
