hey wassup Turtles it's creek here black outdoors I'm right now standing next to a vernal a vernal pool area right next to a creek and i want to show you all the life everything that's sort of happening with all the activity and see a frog jumping around the water right now that's happening around this the standing water it's a really early May it just rained for a couple days waters high out here all these are basis plants everything's just starting to bloom there's so much more green every day we come out here stony now there's so much more green and we were just walking along the creek and we came across as vernal parental pool with you will standing water and just you know frogs jumping in the water caught our attention we walked over a little bit and this is what we've seen masses of tadpoles I'm not sure what type of frogs they are stunning I can see an adults and the water is ice broken output tons of tadpoles different stages of the egg sacs that looks like just from the coloration maybe some have been out longer and some you know fertilized more recent you know this is just the time of year spring we just life explodes and that process you know like like the North midst a winter is coming you know the life cycles out get it started waiting for you know winter is coming again great time great time of year to be out looking looking in the forest so much activity

I'm not sure how many stages a frog has three maybe three or four you can see the tadpoles right now and one of the legs are formed just the tails and the water and while the water may look clear you can pricey with some clarity that that pool soon he was just shooting I can assure you this would put all a world or hurt in your style Meghan on your system if you took took a sip out of this right now but anyways that's the you know the amphibians in the water right now that have you seen and want to point out some of these huge firms that are coming up as well next to I'm not certain what type of what type of ferns these are this is you know in the early stages of the burn at there comes up through the ground opens up in these fiddleheads then it will branch out with these with the leaflets and not what not you know this is if you're going to eat a firm that fern excuse me this is the stage that you want to do it in the fiddlehead i'm not sure if all ferns are edible thing about edibles they really have to know you're doing you have to know botany you have to understand things

and actually this might look like multiple leaves but this is one leaf and all these small ones are it's considered a leaflet this is one whole leaf it comes off like this and these will get much bigger really cool really cool weaker system around this around this pool

stoney there's like a swarm of tadpoles down here and not the other end some different states of x axis my dear they get some other cool footage oh it's like a mass say i'm not sure why there's like a ball of you seen sneak do it as well now they just want company or i don't know if they're cold and they trying to get each others body heat I'm not sure what these are really cool stuff love spring for many reasons it's creek sounding out back outdoors later turtles
