it's up turtles it's creek here with black outdoors and today I want to do sort of a follow up video to a plant ID video I've already done which is the Eastern skunk cabbage latinum simple carpets photo dis and the reason I sort of want to show you the contrast of supposed to the first video I did when when the plant was coming up it was you know about this big and it was really modeled sort of this like dark red mahogany and yellow and they also have like you know mostly green and modeled with that mahogany but I really want to show you what they look like like a completely different plant when they really come up and open up the broad leaves which if you can see in the background all this green that's running behind me is skunk cabbage and also am a Apple get down here on the ground and see these leaves oh really how big and broad these leaves really are of the skunk cabbage and such like almost a night and day difference between the first video we've done showing skunk cabbage first coming up you know one of the first signs of spring and what these look like now honestly you know that to me it's like night and day how different they really look and this is this is a may Apple photo file on pelt Pelt autumn which stay tuned look for video and these are in flowers should be within the next week or two do a video on those really cool planning and as well and specifically you know one of the cool things about nature finding really cool finds is look at this skunk cabbage that's come up from the leaf litter through this leaf with this leave the petiole in the has not Burke Leafs intact and first really restricted that you know part of me wants to just pull this apart and let the plant open but I'm not going to you know we offer a fight playing in eastern skunk cabbage really cool stuff really big for all these really given a lot of highlight to you know the spring force so far a lot of plants aren't up yet but really making cool cool habitat ground cover it's creek signing out with black outdoors later turtles
