piss off turtles Creek here with black outdoors and today I'm going to be doing a video on how to tie a press the kids now to do a pressing Kate you're going to need a separate piece of cordage I have a mock ridge line set up right here that I would be attaching a tarp to you know separate piece of cordage double the piece of cordage join itself grab the ends the loop up here put that behind the ridge line and hold it grab the ends now and pass it through the loop i'm holding that i've created poured through spread this out a little bit and do it again repeat the same process wrap it through and you can use this press the hitch besides just on a ridge line for holding a tarp it has uses in in climbing situations but because i'm not a climber i'm not going to talk on it the star to see the shape of the hitch i'm a pass it through one more time it'll look clean and neat once i finish it and it's kind of hard doing it backwards to the camera but if anyone out there is a climber that's watching this i really appreciate if anyone could tell me how you use this hitch in certain situations for climbing so i really like to know more about climbing and once i finish it pull through one more time this is it and these will have a tendency these coils to want to jump up on itself see i loosen it it already wants to get a little wonky so when you're tying it just at the end you can just make it neat and then pour it get it clean till you want to go too tight and then theory behind this is that when you pull this tight it's going to really bite on the ridge line or the peace or piece of cord it's on I pulled pulling this see how it bites in

go through it one more time piece of cordage double it on itself out of the loop in the end hold it under and pull the ends through do that one more time I'm sure give myself a spot to pushes through that scene one also keep going spread it out one more time that's hanbam I'm done cleaning up get together tighten it now at this point if I'd one up attaches to my ramen of my tarp I would take the two tag ends put it through my grommet and tie it but I don't have a tarp out here with me but I can sort of show you still the theory of this I just have a carabiner on a piece of cordage to show how you can tension something with us not put on the end of here I'm gonna put put a figure eight knot in a using here and I know let's see try to keep it hmm I know the figure eight is used for climbing and belaying it's really really strong it's a figure II tonight now I can attack and slide this one on the ridgeline take my carabiner here put it around this little hook up me this little hold knocking slide the Pressy catch on the ridgeline tensioning pulling tension on this getting it really tight BAM so this you know in theory is my tarp which I'm pulling tight over here and then to loosen it and just push it back on itself

that's the Pro Circuit Creek sounding out back outdoors later turtles
