well the morning all hope you slept well right now with the cloudy day cold large snow just getting ready to have ourselves a little breakfast you know some taters some bacon eggs and beans and well I guess I would be good enough and I'll just this is the member my pack well this is part of the buck back place clip I just love these they take no space much and you can put quite a bit I will be bringing this this will be awesome enough in deep snow remember the firebox Oh something else I gotta show you guys remember my gsi kettle a black one well the Kings light but it was aluminum I gave it away someone that you know was in the scouts and starting soul and my wife had compassion on me and she knew how much I missed that beautiful little kettle and she got me this one for Christmas Thank You Josie Jesus I kettle but stainless steel how cool is that see dusty I saw this and dundas Dusty's chattel Hearst and I said Coco ok I want that I guess she heard me it's the same size as your normal gsi okay for those are you looking for it's about seven inches in diameter about three inches in height and the mouth of it is about maybe five inches perfect little kettle for what you need to do I've just put water in here for water stuff coffee and that's what's coming Oh can't forget that coffee really cool nothing to complain about just got peace of mind being here heat it up by that lovely stove works well okay and having your company is always nice always a blessing so that being said of course can't forget our cook sauce and some kind of spoon we're all set now very lightly pack the first aid kit we're good okay now one last thing i want to show you cuz a lot of people mentioned and you know i don't have all that about the boots that i wear for winter okay now guys these boots are made for like extreme cold if you only leave if you don't live an environment where it's cold don't even think of buying these bullets okay because all you live a sweat I can't remember what are these 400 grams

anyway it's hard to show everything about all the details but you can take there's four layers or three layers but there's only one layer you can take out is this one here it's good for minus 40 in celsius or fahrenheit is the same thing when you get up to minus 40 it's the same thing the soul is just incredible these boots are so comfortable and easy to put them in and you just slide just up type them up I will still I put say about these made by baffin alright see that okay that's about it little reflector rig image eggs here so these are the winter boots and if you do live in very cold climates and you're looking for boots because there are people that are asking me all the time this is what I recommend a hundred percent these boots though you never put double triple pair of socks one good pair of socks is enough if you put too many pairs of socks with this type of boot you're going to sweat and fries one pair is plenty and you don't you don't put the boots when it's you know just 30 degrees out or zero because you are going to swim if you walk you know with them if you're just staying out like that it's fine this is for extreme cold no like minus 15 20 30 40 and going up and fattening and in Celsius so that's what I'm wearing answering some questions now we're going to have a bite to eat and we'll see you guys in the bush

all right so we found nice beautiful river not far from our campsite the beautiful icicles there as we're looking for water if those running out of water but the only problem is how to get to it I'm going to attempt to try and get closer make me a trail so the next time I come I can get myself some water don't attempt to set home not very far from camp so if I fall in the water now here there's a lot of current and I can see that lot deeper and over there there's not much current that it's not deep so I'm going to go more towards there

so yeah

what I can do when I can breathe get some water throw a lot of snow it will give me time to go with my snowshoes purchase my water and come back and only snowshoes all right you know what Josie this is a beautiful river maybe you can come fishing yes widens up way over there okay we're having a good time guys cold but it's fun so maybe yeah that's with your camera second rose i'll just show them the river of it minimal let's show them what I mean see how it becomes pretty wide nice water right there but anyway okay so let me just give you a little idea of what I meant you make sure nothing breaks down now this here will slowly disappear i understand but as I throw some snow see I'm ready to get some water all right now then safely come with me this without getting wet right let's get my water just a little trick well it's just beautiful you know it's thinking it's too bad we just can't have some kind of automatic camera and just bring you guys live we can't possibly film everything because there's so many things to see just show you a few here so we got this view here a small mountain there and there's quite a drop here I'd say it good 60 feet at least

and I got to go slowly with these cameras cuz me oh nice job okay it's focusing on the first thing anyway so yeah well that's it right here just beautiful to watch relax so think and just to be here start to get something hot in our system this made a platform of two pieces of wood no use digging in the snow for this alright

well she's certainly not warm and you know the winters that we're having rain and then it freezes the wood is all covered with ice so this time we'll just make know your typical upside upside down fire but in here so I don't have time to really fool around it's cold and what do I have in my glove oh boy I'd still wit still with anyway I still give her a go may take a while

even the bark is covered with ice I try to break it up a bit yeah gsi kettle is going to be initiated today folks don't worry a little bit of flame you're going to feel good especially when you get nice and black you'll see yeah I know I'm crazy all right this may take a little while patients with wet stuff still now you see she started but she doesn't want to keep it up just wait you might go up oh yeah not burning too fast huh usually birch bark burns a lot faster than that so damn anxious to get some warm stuff in my belly what about you love oh yes yeah I know I got a nice kettle someone gave it for Christmas so what's cool about not just this though but any you know Hobo stove I just put two little pieces of wood on the ground don't need to dig anywhere and bingo so this will not sink down you just take care of your fire on that I got an ash pan under so and I have never seen this take so long Deb / then damn come on that's it

she'll cap she'll catch a little deaf but it's gonna work guys oh yeah so let this beauty start up when she's boiled up well we'll get right back at you don't go away well it took a little bit more convincing nurturing but she's finally out there for me this is the worst time of the year if you know that rained and then it freezes make sure you take the time to get the inside of you know of the wood like we usually do i dint this time so it took me a longer time but finally it's out there so that makes me happy because I'm going to have some coffee pretty soon because we are freezing so stay tuned well this is going to feel good guys one thing though that I have to say about hobo stoves or this one or any kind when it's minus 15 or whatever this is very cool to handle with and you can't really use gloves much as it's all little pieces but other than that it's fine once it's gone fire once it's going I mean doesn't take much wood after that no law that says we have to break it exactly the same size all right so enough fooling around my batteries died I'm gonna get this going and have my coffee so talk to you guys later Thanks all right so after a long day cold weather this is the second good meal that we're having ah we still have some fried rice left of yesterday I could eat that every day anyway but instead of chicken right now we have a wonderful delicious stew that the meat is just falling into pieces it's going to be so good and obviously my wife it's okay has a bigger portion retarder let's see it has some let's see if it looks as good don't move okay oh boy that's making me hungry right there all right I know you guys like this so we're gonna chew on this relax go to bed and sadly this is the second day already so anyway still two more days might have one more day of filming the last one there won't be any you guys take care what didn't happen to meet the new order I'm four more here I'm giving this to you

tomorrow we're going to hike to that the old forest big trees yep delicious meal have something
