okay so I'm out today doing some some work for a project and well I've got a cool bag to show you guys from hidden woodsman Malcolm so I'll share that I'm pretty sure a lot of you are familiar with Malcolm at the hidden woodsman if not I mean you should check them out you makes great quality gear in the USA nice man to talk to great customer service as well now I decided to share this with you because it's just an awesome piece of gear now I decided to get this from Malcolm for three reasons this is called a French trade bag that he calls so the first reason is because it's called the French trade yeah I'm in quebec canada so it's got a little history so that appeal to me also the size is perfect for my needs it's not too big not too small and the third which is the main reason it makes a great compliment to my day pack because a lot of times I want to come out and do some stuff and my day pack is not enough to carry whatever i'm working on so this makes a great compliment

alright so as you can see i chose coyote brown and you got some OD straps black buckles obviously this is good stuff anything that's made out of you know corduroy denier this is 500 denier so I mean top notch you know waterproof and all that good stuff it's rugged it's tough it's quality things that I need cuz i often bushwhack and this is what i need for me personally of course all the stitching double stitching triple stitching at some places is great buckles great quality I mean can't say enough about this bag really okay what I'm going to do real quick I'm just going to measure it for you real fast i may not be the perfect measurements okay so why is about 12 inches okay you set them in your guys 30 centimeters about 11 12 inches that way as well so 30 inch 30 centimeters I mean okay the width of it

is about

two and a half inches maybe six seven centimeters of course you know just go on his website you'll get the exact measurements and it opens up very good fast here good six inches let's say so about 13 14 centimeters so let me get a little closer we'll take a look at the bag a little bit more in detail okay so it's got one main top cover adjustable strap a buckle in front here which can also be tight and depending the load you got when you open her up first thing you got is a front pocket and look at the stitching on that and something else the velcro on these things is like almost perfection this is tough stuff a little tiny pocket in here which is about six by six maybe the inside you have some flaps but stuff doesn't come out and what a brilliant idea Malcolm had you got a bright yellow in here so it's a lot easier to see your stuff and look it opens up quite a bit you've got a inside pocket and your main pocket there's not millions of pockets there you just grab you see your stuff get what you need I mean to me that's very well done Malcolm I love this bag as I said it was to compliment my day pack and it does a great job for that now Malcolm out of the goodness of his heart send me some extra stuff so you can check out a little bit what he makes I mean he makes pouches rucksacks backpacks tarps you name it so let's take a look at a few things you sent me right so here's a few things that he makes and again it's same quality same stuff buckles stitching all right just some great awesome gear now I'm not going to pretend that I know all these things what they're really made for so I'm going to read for you okay so obviously my French trade bag then laplander sheath cool belt pouch right here fire bag Malcolm forgive me probably one of those tender bag this is the tender bag I'll show you this in a minute this is really cool also you got bedroll straps awesome big need for me with that there's two of them field guide cover which is probably this one here anyway I'm sure I I didn't mention all the things right things properly but you guys just check out his website you you know find out stuff they send me a cool patch

hidden woodsman very nice those are all extras I'm very happy about that by the way when you get a French back this French French trade bag this doesn't come with it okay it's all sold separately alright so got this pouch here again I'm going to stitching and the velcro on that look how tough that is awesome love it little bell pouch buckles straight buckle again orange so you can see orange inside I just love it Malcolm I'm very impressed with your stuff ok now Laplander sheath it's off again ty orange sheath is there and by the way Malcolm sadly my wife Josie stole this from me already and I think one of the pouches so it's not all mine haha this is great ok so real quick now these are just awesome your bedroll straps two of them always looking for something like that and I never find now I got

okay look at this cool bag this is probably the tinder bag it's just like a dry bag do that already just roll it up just just like a dry bag perfect now that camel on this thing if I move this Oh blends in quite a bit isn't it probably be hard to find too but I love that pattern on this now what do you say this is called hold on be patient with me okay Penn caught green zone I love this bag as well I love everything my goodness oh and this one here now I can't remember what this one's for but I'm going to be using for something different Malcolm because I was needing a pouch for it if you guys have the firebox this pouch air fits it perfectly they'll throw on that I love it cut a perfect fit not too tight just a little loose so it's not a pain to take in take out I mean awesome okay there you go and all made in USA all right so I got a little bit more work to do but Malcolm I want to thank you very much for sending all that and the extras you know that was very kind of you and I'm totally impressed it's you got talent you certainly got talent friend you guys interested in all kinds of pouches you know check his website out look him up contact him you probably do anything you want you know any sheets he's got a new backpack or rucksack that just came out you won't regret it I love all the pouches will be useful and especially to me what counts is how rugged they are you know you go out you want your gear to last and tough and this is it alright thanks for watching this is my chrome bushcraft Barton's

alright so I thought I'd give you guys a little extra now these are some of the pouches that Malcolm has sent and they all they're all there for specific tasks but what's cool about these pouches you can use them for any other personal things that you think would be good for you so I thought I would extend this video and show you exactly what i will be using these pouches for so let me put these aside now if you remember this big one here this would be perfect for firebox stove this is just awesome I'm just very impressed with this ok this dry bag meaning this is so cool dry bag you can store fool you can store dry clothes and I think Malcolm this was for tinder bags of uses this and I love it ennio is fairly lightweight so this is going to be with me and my trips for sure ok this little pouch here why we'll be using this one for Malcolm is my cleaning now I had this in a what do you call it a leather pouch remember the bat black leather pouch but being that this is you know waterproof and you know things can't come out of it I decided to use this so what do I have in my cleaning I have a little handkerchief some medication

floss soap by video on that favor toe tabs got a video on that as well toothpaste anti-itch mr. Burt's toothbrush and more medication and water tablets if you go on longer trips I like to have some you know upset stomachs kind of pills and digestion and heartburn always cool to have that so all this goes in this SuperDuper pouch it's sealed nothing will come out of it just love it all right so here's another little pouch that Malcolm done awesome thing strong sturdy what I decided to put in this you ready this is why I'll be carrying it for OOP my flashlight stuff so I have one flashlight the t10 or t12 tn12 yeah headlamp like diamond and some spare batteries now decide to put it in this one first of all because it fits well and I have the option and I'm just going to throw this in there I have the option of carrying it on my belt so I got all my lights on my belt if ever I need it ok so those are some of the things you can do with these pouches and actually you can do other stuff for example I already had a pouch for this this is Maxpedition but you could use this one here which is almost the same size this is my filtration system which is mini Sawyer and all the good stuff ok so you can use its pouches for that or another one is a first aid kit now I already have a bag but you can make yourself a first-aid kit with any of these or a fire kit I mean endless so I thought it would add you know this these ideas to you because I mean these pouches is just awesome i can't say enough about them i'm so happy to have them now i can store all my stuff easy to pack just great
