you

Oh welcome to a beautiful cold winter day in canada winter is finally here didn't think it would get here but right now thinking about a foot and a half yes friend protect it from the trees that wind is just just a killer so just talk to you guys later little tip in case you guys didn't know now these right here you can see are formed by the wind now over here in Canada especially you know during the wintertime if you know you are dominant win this will help you you know give you a direction concerning you know north-south and all that stuff but during the winter our dominant win is pretty much always Northwest and these right here or pointing exactly all the same direction Northwest you've got bigger ones smaller ones and it goes all over the place now we're just coming this way right forming your your pointy shape they're going towards there you can see clearly here where the few not sure where the snow is being true true the way see that here compared to the other side here we can't see a thing we can have this son okay compared to this side here is nice and flat this side is all chewed up can't see anything but anyway I hope I'm in the right place see it's the same for that one right there it's all chewed up so you can't really go wrong knowing which way the wind is coming so I know if ever I need to and I'm stuck in this particular way with no compass or stuff like that well knowing that the wind is dominant Northwest well I know exactly if I see these things where Northwest is so just a little tip in case you didn't know all right something that is hesitant of mentioning in this video but I'll tell you anyway now if you're all familiar with the shadow stick method that is a very precise way of boring you're annoying your north any direction anyway

but just a little example of how you can easily find the north you know a general direction okay it's not always precise because the Sun moves but you always check your shadow like right now my shadow and see it from the Sun is pointing north east right now okay and if I just move right beside our little piece of snow here that gives us Northwest it'll give us another nice North almost right on the on the spot okay that's going this way right that way my shadow here because I'm not exactly position the same way but it's still going north so a shadow will give you again a general position from northeast to northwest but if you really want to get you know into Pacific Precision's use me without a compass compass see my mouth is so frozen we can hardly talk stick with the shadow stick method thanks for watching alright I'm back my wife Josie warned me to prove really that this is pointing north the shadow

we see it my shadow 2 is pointing their a general for yeast and still pointing north right now my hands my fingers are about to fall off thanks for watching
