so we're on a mini vacation of two days well they and a half it's very hot supposed to go around forty so just been a little short hike this morning with that sit for today when it's too hot you just lost me anyway we're in the minute that phone in Santa's I give a beautiful place just want to come relax do some fishing camping the place to be anyway if there's anything else was a lot the camera it's mine

lots of sortal here move a little treasure here get some mule and good for natural paper toilet put on the wound I'm looking for a dry one there you go some little treasures dry hand real so this time of year when the cattail is young if you peel off and you just keep that middle part that you see here you'll have a good snack let's see if I can do this with one hand I want to peel it Josie for me just here so this tender part right there very good hold on it tastes just like cucumber and it's very tender this is a mountain ash it's in my way but that's cute

yep looking good another 10-15 minutes and we got some beautiful white rice that'll be your supper okay I know this is kind of strange but you solid lovers out there if you bring it in the woods here's a little tip that Josie's gonna show but first what's the dressing you're done olive oil balsamic vinegar mm-hmm some maple syrup yep garlic the best okay so what we do so what we do is we use a ziploc bag and we dump it in mix it well and then just separate in both our little dishes so Josie's gonna show us how it's done mix it tonight and dump it on both sides of your plates okay let me just give them a last look of the delivery wants to show us out okay there you go good let's show the meat one last time look at that heavenly porky pieces of Awesomeness right there let's see that's better

well you decided to keep the salad in the bag this time because don't have any other pot but eating salad with a spoon I'm telling you guys try that drive just flat try that salad dressing you will not eat anything else again

well that's pretty cool gosh it lights the whole corner they're great like that little flashlight Josie yes okay that's it well good morning I guess there's not a better way of waking up last night we could make a fire was really too hot and felt like it was gonna be stormy so we decided to weigh in the morning cook ourselves some good breakfast so first thing we're going to cook is a little bit of Bannack and even up the coals a little bit so Danica's done just keep it on half-dead coals here just to keep it warm now bake in I have to rekindle a little bit of my fire my coals weren't hot enough so this is cooked the eggs take two seconds don't need much heat our breakfast is done got some bacon eggs and awesome Vanek Bon Appetit

okay a little bonus for you guys now I know this is gonna sound pretty strange for most of you but here in Quebec we're used to this it's called flow massive let's see actually it's curved cheese that we just fry in a pan and let me tell you it's something out of this world it's a dish that's from here I'm pretty sure because I haven't seen anywhere else you gotta wait till it melts and it's you know melts and fries on one side and then you turn it it's not that long to cook I'll show you when it's done so that's what you want it to look like on both sides this is some good stuff before some people are not used to this but over here in Quebec it's a treat Michael what's that one
