morning folks well oh there's mama partridge where the eggs were well I slept like a little baby went to bed around finished reading oh I'd say about 10:30 and woke up at 5:00 that's good nicely for me and it's pretty rare five o'clock it's pretty much my time so now I'm gonna go for a walk see if we can't find some wildlife what do you say but you know I gotta have my coffee first

have a feeling range all night and it doesn't look like it's gonna we're blessed with a nice day yesterday so I'm going to go for a little walk as Billy always wakes up a little later of course I'm an early bird go for a little walk lots of places to walk never know lots of moves here and maybe we'll see something did I bring you guys along I'm kind of grouchy in the morning but after this hmm

have no words well the birds are happy look what I found

nice pile of moose poop yeah well I have to say that I really really enjoyed sleeping on the trapper's cabin you know it's about maybe ten degrees Celsius this morning still not warm warmth comes in July here but uh in that cabin I was nice and toasty warm yep small only I had my I had a sleeping bag but I don't even think I needed it so it's pretty cool so right now there's something though facing a major problem I didn't know if I should you know put on camera I'm going to tell you guys I've got no more coffee that's not good so go back to camp Phil this guy up maybe we'll go take a walk down to the river the creek see if we can see any wild game at the same time I'll show you the river right away this son Jack is working great oaks right now I got to charge my phone never used to use my phone much but I use my phone especially for Facebook you know take pictures that you don't see on YouTube and well plus at night sometimes I listen to I've got I know if you guys know about David Brainerd he was a missionary to the Indians

the natives back in the 1700s and Massachusetts area anyway and I just love that missionary if you've never heard of it and you're a Christian born-again believer you'll enjoy this guy's diary he says things that we would never say but we often feel of course it's a diary so it's personal and it's really cool a book exists I've read the book but they have it in mp3 as well okay so let this guy charge up the charges at least my phone four times this one if you haven't seen the review this I got a it's a solar pack right now I'm just on the battery I don't need anything else

waiting for my next coffee and we're going to go for a little walk to the river

well can't really ask for better it's a little cooler here obviously we're by the river but what a beautiful scenery and it's perfect I'm going to clean myself a little bit and head back to camp

okay

all right so it's pretty much all done a few adjustments here and there he does still put the door burn the inside but right now we have to cover it because there's probably a storm coming but we done good

you

it was like you know you play guys okay so we had a good day today pretty good one

right now there is incredible thunderstorms which is pretty cool but by tomorrow hopefully it will rain we'll be able to finish up the oops finish up the oven and well I decided to stay an extra day because I loved it too much in this place and also I want to finish help Billy finish the oven so I'm going to wash up a bit read and go back to bed thanks for being with me in this little trip see you tomorrow another wonderful sleep ah but it was really chilly chilly last night stormy rainy so I was happy to bring my sleeping bag but thank God for the old coffee so let me show you quickly

yeah where we're at he had to stole the tarp still rainy hopefully that's going to stop this thing is going to be fine and dandy when it's done had to put another support there just in case because it felt like I wanted to come down a cheese nice and dry this morning and today today we'll be installing the door that one there it could stop raining we're going to do our first burn and we do the first burn to burn our rings of twigs and also the birch bark once that up that's all burnt out it'll be ready to go and hopefully we'll be able to cook some kind of a bread so anyway one more day one more night and that I have to head home but I have to tell you I needed these four days it was just glorious they just hope that this rain stops for today so we can keep on working and this little trapper's cabin let me tell you it beats any type of shelter you can think of it's really cool so I didn't I didn't start any fires at all I could have though would have felt maybe a little bit better but don't need to you get up and you start moving and you're fine and plus more importantly as long as you have coffee ok so right now as you can see we are inside because yeah Billy's here it's a good thing years because this cabin is heated it's really cold out today it is rainy it was 5 degrees this morning so right now we're going to work on it is birch bark canoe it's been cracked a few places and the way to fix it you got some ropes we're going to split them thin enough so we can stitch cracks priam close together and then to be able to pitch it with pitch glue so on it's really nice to be able to do this inside then outside well it's raining today Mike is leaving tomorrow and I really want to start a bake him my Kentucky yeah are you talking sorry about that I didn't see that you know so man yet so I really wanted to make a bread and it's raining it's little best thing to do to remove all you know there the bark inside and to make the first fire but well let's give it a try my kid and and after we'll make you something okay I'm not happy about that not so I can you

it's cold it's about five degrees it's raining non-stop but we still want to get this going for our own personal use and of course to show you guys see that this really works okay so as you can see we're building a fire so we're able to you know burn off the twig frame that we put on and the birch bark as we know that the cement will be holding on itself after and then we'll be able to hopefully bake some batting eat the bread we just need for bread we just need thick so if I was cooking pizza I will leave a fire just in the back but now I just see so the cement keeps the heat long enough to cook the Bannock that's right you got it yeah okay so we're going to put the door Knicks and the Vanek inside good there we go let's see

oh wow look at that man the first bread in the oven that looks awesome he looks and is not burn oh yes sir praise God for an oven this is awesome good very happy with it good job hey folks well liver not this third day is really cold a big big change I mean it was nice and sunny and t-shirt day and now it's five degrees Celsius with the winds it's like you know - maybe zero or something so I needed to start fire get a fire going here so I'm just testing the I threw in the stove in the fireplace is to see how that's going to go I gotta see the stove and this thing is heating like I mean there's this size of a cabbage you don't need much but you know that's the size of it right there so hopefully it'll keep me a little bit more I'm not going to keep this warm all night because it's gonna get too hot stay in my sleeping bag
