all right hey folks welcome to a little project I would like to share with you first off Josie I had an idea she wanted to make a hoodie out of a wool blanket and you know it takes a little time and knowledge and we're not that much have experience in that so she said I think I'll just make a poncho and then I started thinking about that and you know what it's a great idea and I'll tell you why we love to be by campfires but sometimes we got some clothes that does not like fire so whatever clothes you have on will not matter anymore because if you do want to be close to a campfire all you need to do is put on your wool poncho it will keep you warm and will keep your clothes safe you know the nice clothes you like to wear so I thought it was a great idea and this doesn't cost anything it's part of the stash that I have of wool blankets that cost two bucks now this one in particular is a six feet by four and a half which is perfect for Josie there's hardly anything to do now it's folded in two and all she's going to need to do is make her little hole for her head so anyway you thought we'd share this with you guys pretty interesting

all right so simple first off you want to know your neck measurement or whatever hole size you need you just use something that you wear right Josie yes so this is my old hoodie I like the opening of this already so I'm just gonna take from here to here that's gonna be my opening that's about ten inches ten inches yeah so that's gonna be pretty comfortable but then part this see I'll keep the back part straight but this one should be lower so from there to there I would have to about three inches lower the front part here from the center that's what I'm gonna do with the other one oh okay anyway hi hey guys I know nothing about this I'm already mixed up okay this good doesn't have to be perfect okay so it's fall into in the width section with size I guess hold on I might get that hold it here yeah put my foot on it quarter I'm just put a 54 looks 54 okay 54 and a quarter so now now what what do you have to do I'm gonna take the center divide that 54 into - well that's 27 and 1/8 you could have left it there awesome put it back okay blue back cuz it's not quite digging you hold up please yes haha one thing look one thing I know a little bit more measurement 27 and 1/2 actually it's a half yeah 54 and a half 27 as 1/4 then right here no no right the quarter is here Oh muy so marked center hold that yeah so okay so the center and what was your measurement for the 10 inches okay so now you have to measure five inches on both sides and I take this one it's easier for me that's okay okay but 10 10 inches that you're gonna have to allow for seaming yeah you got a need and plus room remember it was round like this so that's it I'm gonna put 12 so we'll put that six and so I'll take this so guys if everyone makes mistakes you'll know what not to do so there you go okay about the center now go right here right away three inches you see me oh is that one be your your front part and the back will just stay a little bit like that okay so now you wait you're not gonna do a nice drawing ah from one point to another

like here sure let's see your drawing skills oh my gosh yeah you're on camera ah that's some kind of drawing skill there alright so now we're gonna have to do the same thing on the other side back part I'm just gonna do it like that so that would be your neck point oh no we don't need to do the same thing on the other side no no no you just goes like that that piece ajiz alright looks cool okay so Josie decided to add another inch so on both sides just in case good as it goes you know it's round and she's got a seam make a seat everywhere so yeah just to make sure so now the cutting right would have been easier to had I fold it into two and just go like that okay because I don't want to cut that part there I'm just gonna go in cut it there make a hole okay I'm gonna insert this because if you start cutting those two it's gonna be both okay over there then I just go and cut it about right so there that's my neck okay so how in the world is in it apparently it's not not my cup of tea okay so next time next thing is the seaming seam yeah that what it is yeah you're gonna have to close that or uh okay yeah guys okay you're not cutting the other side no okay let's go cut it a little bit too you know what I mean this a little bit lower like that so this is kind of like still straight so I could do is just grab it a little bit um okay I can hold it this is just a libel I'm gonna eyeball the thing there you go okay it's not too well I think this is just a great idea cheap and it will yeah he won't be afraid to be close to the campfire when you're using nice nice nicer clothes while close I will burn easily I'd like to put a hood I don't have enough time yeah do it yeah maybe later you can add to it but right now I think this just as Poncho's and it look cool that's right okay okay so so far that's what it looks like very simple isn't it and I give way standing Masseria not at all it's gonna keep you warm particular the clothes cool I want to put something here so it holds my head that's fine too but of course easy to take it off and then still the foam you can put it on any coat on top of any coat yeah it goes pretty low it's lower than your knees mm-hmm there's the turn around oh you can sit down it's long enough okay so this is a six by four and a half Josie's about five eight so it'll give you an idea yeah all right okay Oh hmm okay uh just a minute Oh see it's in the light you'll see it better nice hey you're doing good yeah gonna be a nice poncho so while Josie is doing her sewing I thought I would slip this in another flashlight from thrunite this time is the archer to av2 let me read a few specs on it it's got lettuce creaks plv six 20 years run time the modes run time Firefly 55 lumens 672 hours low 17 lumens 96 hours medium 75 lumens 11 hours high 450 lumens 100 minutes strobe 450 lumens 140 minutes the max output of of course is 450 max runtime 672 hours on Firefly mode working voltage 9 volts it takes two double-a batteries the max beam distance 130 meters impact resistant 2 meters waterproof 1.5 meters it weighs 75 grams without the battery dimensions 160 millimeters in length which I guess is about little over 6 inches and 23 millimeters bezel diameter diameter excuse me which is a little under an inch I do suppose it comes with a pocket clip and spare o-ring right so like all the other flashlights it does have your momentary switch it doesn't matter on which mode you are or you can just leave it on very simple you want to change the modes you got this little white button here changes to 3 or 5 nothing comes back hold it strobe it's got your little bezel I guess tactical kind of thing nice little overall flashlight okay let's just talk very quickly about the pros and cons or I should say the pros and Pose

what pose for pickier pinions because this is just a personal opinion and it doesn't degrade this flashlight because it's a good flashlight but let's start with the cons a little bit a little picky opinion a little long for EDC which is not really a big deal and the pocket clip is if I can see it this way tip up I know it's not a knife but you guys understand and it doesn't go that well I'd rather it be this way so when you take it out of your pockets you're ready you know like this you have to turn it back around but maybe they had another idea put in the pocket clip here so I may be wrong but again it's no big deal

hmm see there's like a bluish tint for a better throw maximum throw this light will flood it's more of a flood than a you know a spot which is excellent and by the way Justin from wolf customs well wolf calls wolf customs is his website Greer wolf made a great review this and he showed how well this thing works when it comes to lighting it lights very wide and you see very well all right so is there something else Oh batteries a little loose in there again no big deal to me it's not but maybe for some of you it is that's why I wanted to mention it so the pros well it's powerful 450 lumens and it has or uses double-a batteries two of them so I mean that's excellent so this was the arch or 2 8 v 2 from thrunite and when you do lighter up now you probably won't see this hold on I hope for a little while I'll try and make it dark here close it huh it doesn't show anyway kind of like an indie glow type of thing but anyway okay let's go see how Josie is doing so this is the finished product wasn't too long now just a little an old tip I guess if you guys would like to add a hood what Josie thought of is to use an old hoodie shirt that she had and take it from there cut it off and sew it and of course you can actually leave the whole shirt there if you want if you'd be wearing it as a you know in the fall or whatever case but if it's the case please don't use cotton because when you sweat we all know what cotton is so anyway it's just an idea but you don't really need a hood because the main idea for this is to protect your clothing and your clothing we'll probably have like your jacket will probably already have a hood if you need it and you know it's pretty rare the coals will jump right onto your hood okay so I hope you enjoyed this little a project and thanks for watching

alright so Josie added the hood yeah we know ladies need a little bit of style in there things that cool and even the outside it looks even rough yeah No yeah cool well well done miss Jo oh um Congressman Hector it's not according here you have to work on this one remember I took it from yeah yeah sure

so get out looks good and all this cost nice I just want to show you my last little project you know we try and be a little practical as much as we can Josie want a little you know a little table for the living room you know this is the couch and you got the and well we didn't want to have to pay for a fancy table so we decided to use this I don't know what you call it anyway we we store blankets in this you know it's soft I think it's an old we picked this up years ago I can't remember where it's old but it's in perfect shape I think he used to put vacuum cleaner in this thing but anyway the thing is that is that this is just about the right size that we need because we don't want to have a big living room table because it's I find it's always in the way but the problem is obviously this because you know you could put your feet on that as you're watching TV that's kind of cool so what I just like to do is I bought let me call this pine two two planks I cut them at the the right length the screwed you know put them together and [Music]

just put on the top like this and now you got a table and you know I decorate it a little bit stained it and burned it but anyway so now it's can be used for two things as a table and just need to take this off put your feet on so I thought I'd share this little project in case maybe some of you guys we want to try this out if ever you don't have any table in the living room okay so that's it

you're not done okay Josie wants to shore set up stay right where you are don't move

I didn't let's see oh wow my pouch in this what another thing with the belt is I didn't tie the back part so I'm loose oh I just put it in there so you have more liberty for your hand oh whoa that's that's cool stead of so fake okay so you put it around like that the back just the front so when you sit down you're still free well you're full of great ideas well of okay we're gonna stop these people are gonna have other things to do yeah that's a great idea though put your belt around okay okay and I'm sure there's a lot of smart people watching this they're gonna add all kinds of stuff smart things to this if they want okay okay cool okay Josie one is trying to show you on camera because I'm a good obedient husband so that's what it looks like it actually feels good and you know what you can even protect this sit down yeah very cool you like my setup love your setup thumbs up for Josie [Music]
