well I guess this will work oh just making a making myself a good base because too many layers of ice snow is too deep still and then want to be able to do what I want before the fire goes in too deep so [Music]

smell skunk

okay this here should do the trick before we get the fire going I think the Creek is I can get access to it

so instead of melting some snow it's a lot quicker to get water when you can and you save on fuel and time okay so now how to get there without falling through right

yep

dig it up a bit now I'm going to wait till the water clears you have some water for coffee perfect oh there's a few few odds and ends in here but a little bit windy so I left a little Valley in here and I put a piece of wood so nothing would fly away start warming up my water yeah I'm pretty I'm pretty blessed because there's still two to three feet of snow depending where you go here but there's uh you had a very mild temperature for a little while and rained a couple of days so there's a nice thick layer of ice so that's why I'm not thinking at all because if there wouldn't be for that would be no traveling for me here each step even with snow - it'll be over my knees not fun okay so I forgot my pan because I want to cook a steak so I guess we'll have to settle the steak on the stick I do suppose I don't want to waste my fire and plus to be honest I'm hungry so I'm just taking the nots anything that will stop me from sliding my piece of meat sharp enough sighs a little thick okay this should do the trick this is the piece of meat so I'm going to slide her in so much in the middle if I can thicker parts it'll sag a little bit but it'll do so very simple instead of trying and find the perfect wire branch and stick the wire branch and the piece of meat you just put a normal piece of wood right through it and then put it on your Y branch so it cooks you know evenly hopefully all right so I'm going to let that slow cook and take care a little bit of the fire see if my water is hot looks like it's boiling or getting warmer anyway so we may have our coffee before the steak who knows few more minutes it'll be coffee time well it looks like it looks like we may have a normal spring this year now the snow has gone down quite a bit because of that mild spell but it's staying just at the freezing point all week so that's good of course we will have one or two typical snowstorms but I'm excited for this white stuff be gone hey that's it just when my cover is open thank you okay

that's ready

so my steak is doing very well it won't take too long to cook because I like it medium-rare possible so by the time my coffee is done steak should be cook like I like it hopefully so as you can see I changed my cook saw or Kopi Luwak found the other one to be a little small this is the large cup I got it in the trade now with Dallas and this is the perfect size I don't need to dump to three times once is plenty I put a few declarations to make it my own well it's been at least well over a month since I've smelt smoke from a campfire find it weird but it feels good oh yes okay let me see here don't make a mistake let's turn it oh man this steak is it going to be awesome let me tell you well you know it's always awesome right or awesomeness so if you plan on I know I've mentioned this many times and videos but if you have a lot of snow and you plan on staying a couple of hours and you don't want your snow to go into the let's make a thick base now as you saw at the beginning I had old punky wet birch which is perfect for that of course if you're in an emergency you can use Greenwood and pile it up and your fires gonna stay on top look it hasn't gotten down I've been here a couple of hours at least

and not quite a couple hours but that thing is not moving and sometimes when you need a quick fire well you don't even need a base at all I've showed that also in videos maybe show it again once upon a time in the future all right so I think we're done here I see a little bit of blood still oozing out which is good it's been there for at least oh maybe five minutes on both sides and see the other side here if you last last look gonna be nice and juicy well it's good yes I'll have to bite into it like an animal nothing wrong with that just don't have anything I'm pretty sure it's pretty hot though well thank you Jesus for this meal really appreciate it

okay let's see oh you know where I get this take the steak the butcher knows this thing it's it melts in your mouth it's dripping

[Music]

smoked cooked over the fire this and coffee has got to be my best in the world just this simple I have to taste the other side see if it's good mmm well

you know I don't like eating in your face so

I'll just continue eating this try not eat it too fast because I feel like gulping it all at one shot but maybe we'll get back to you why did I say we me and the steak we'll get back to you he'll be somewhere else but we'll still get back to you [Music]

well I guess it's gonna be it wasn't planning on staying here all day I'm still going to enjoy this fire and just chill out I guess just relax a bit so I'm very happy and blessed you guys stopped by again my message whenever you can get out there and just enjoy the wilderness you know keep it simple I think it's the most rewarding god bless you
