if you remember my first video spending over night time my arrow head shelter I brought

friend of mine called Billy wanted to learn a few skills and that's what we've done

I'll put a video response to this one Casey didn't see it this time he invited me up to his cabin log cabin

learn some more that's what we're going to do bushcraft is addicting isn't it so

got about four hours to do in the road then a short hike now Billy

is a

historian adventure

he likes to don't redo what the Pioneers done the fast

now here in Quebec this place is 408 years old

it's the

oldest province and Canada it's actually the oldest place in all of North America and a few things belly daddy done something like four or five hundred miles on the mighty Yukon River Bill himself arrived and float on that he also built himself some type of a small Viking boat forget the name I don't know how long he's found the water how many months but anyway

I'm going to cabin and we're going to have some fun I thought I'd bring you guys with us life is good life is good you know

our lives may be surrounded by bad circumstances and

problems you know that's life but

I believe the greatest power that God has given us is the power of choice how bad things come at you problems even other things may try and influence you but you have the choice either to live by it or beyond and I choose to live beyond you know what that's called it's called survival

survival is not just in the bush it's an everyday thing I got a dream dream is to get myself a nice piece of land

male biomarker

not there yet I'm pursuing it still and we'll see in the future hopefully it's going to happen a few things about dreams I want to share with you now your dream may not be mine one thing that we know about drains is if that's all we do is drink about what we want that's all we're going to get so pursue it go a little bit at a time and you never know so anyways you guys sit back relax

don't worry I'll do all the work and we'll see you in four hours alright I'm on the trail now car it over there now going to hike down that way so let's do this now the house that Billy built is a typical cabin that they would have built here in the 19th century and he built it from scratch tried to build the same thing as they would have inside out so as soon as we get there take a look at together there she is where'd you guys go ha told you not to be shy let's check it out together now this is your typical 19th century cabin and Quebec we're going to be checking all kinds of stuff later on and also Billy tries to live like they live so let's check it out hey Billy good going good yeah you're welcome man so here I cabin yes sir that's all you men like built like my whole hand should I care with my tools and everything it took me about three months to build it from very glad you of you're here I'm glad to be here too oh yeah man and and yeah so this is where I live trying to live like back in the 19th century you know eating the food and looking the scenery I'm doing the trapping here and yeah I'm just enjoying myself I guess yeah good stuff yeah so how big is the cabin well it's a 12 by 16 feet okay so it's two floors so so yeah so one floor here this is where all their mostly read my books you know I do my study here about the bushcrafting about history and and yeah and upstairs just my you know my tire for my my my my try can you know okay goes upstairs here yeah right so and yeah and this is well this is well one of my favorite thing here it's I will tell you guys is this this is like a blonde burst from 1810 and so this is my little little baby so I saw yeah it's it's what made smooth is what miss monthly 4 or 4 or so so yeah and a cricket in Quebec City in a whole museum huh and and yeah well I would I wouldn't use it anymore for sure but still you know I like to have it here show it to my friends you know and and yeah you can feel the e story through it yeah it's very nice yeah
