welcome back first off I want to thank all of you prayer warriors out there that pray for us truly appreciate it we came out of there fine everything's okay one sad thing that happened just before we left the night a young man of twenty years old got shot in the head for just about no reason thieves came and wanted to steal stuff you didn't have you see Haiti eighty percent of the population does not work and there's no welfare so you can imagine what goes on people will pull out a gun in desperation and try and get you know still a little bit of money to eat or whatever on anybody and especially when you're white so your prayers I mean we were well protected nothing bad happen and I'm really grateful for those of you who don't know I know most of you do I'm an associate pastor / missionary and we build churches we have a church here in Quebec Canada we also have a work up in Hudson's Bay with First Nations to creep now it's another pastor that's taking care of that and we also have a work in Haiti and yes we believe in God that salvation is by faith through Jesus Christ now in Haiti we also have an orphanage that we try and take care of about 24 kids and we try and provide you know the basic foods the needs like rice dried peas flour sugar oil and clothing you know people donate stuff and try and send it send up to them so they can have you know basic needs to try and help them a bit now in 2010 and if you remember there was a devastating earthquake in Haiti you know or 200,000 people died and two weeks after that we went down with a American team of doctors when in the mountains for 10 days and try and provide some medical help this time in 2014 january we were more in the plains area so what I'm going to do to make it simple so I stopped talking here is I'm going to give you a couple of clips of the 2010 and by the way it's not an HD and after that it will automatically turn into the 2014 something else I know I've been going for three weeks and there's i have over 1,300 emails so I know you guys have some questions and just be patient with me please and I will answer you as soon as I can if ever I don't answer you and you know the weeks to come send your question or whatever it is you're asking again because I may miss it and at the same time and in a couple of days to recuperate so thanks again for all your prayers and everything you do for me and for now well enjoy the video oh and tell you how the trip went good morning the trip was very long but I'll tell you this some other time but no okay yeah vok sk we're gonna see that ball st who know we will be starting to build a medical team medical center and people will have exactly about seven days to come and go and okay people want to go in the camera well you gonna want to hard to pull but she's tough oh alright this is dan in the first day we're all just beat out the end of the day how many people you think we treated today I think is it 150 150 there's 60 people today crowd out there Oh weirds go tellin just a mob oh yes face we're waiting for the and we're finished in the mountains so we're waiting for this little plane to come get us finish our work down and paul panks but we had a five minutes what's behind me is the northwest part of the Caribbean Sea okay we're going to the yelp the airport what's the name of the airport okay also I got a trance eat kinds of people will be watching this okay bad boy no now booly booly booly you take care buddy ok thank you ok session that I've young for the sound hole place when we leave we'll be able to talk about I'll try and get some pictures or tsavo lady yet we're in Florida for Florida we just got back here around one thirty in the morning about leaving at six in the morning so they'll use going out getting a hotel this will be our sleeping grounds

which is better than being outside maybe not anyway see you in Haiti all right so we just got an 88 warning right now tons of traffic

but I have no choice awakened one after walk anyway i'll talk to you guys later wouldn't get into the compound ok Cheers alright so we're at the compound and that i was in 2010 and it's changed a lot not the camp on itself with the surroundings there's new buildings we don't see the mounds anymore let me show you still got that 12 14 foot wall with the

wires at the top there with the razor blades I know if you didn't see them anyway and you've got the scene it's bad we can't see them but there's mountains way over there used to see them a lot better until this big building was put and this is to protect us this big wall from especially the mobs mobsters at night now this tree was not our was not this big I could show you the other end where the guard is this is this is managed by Mennonites from the states and Tennessee all right so there's not much danger except for night time you want to be on this side of the wall if you're on that side the big chance that you will be disappearing hello come ova joke oh hello tomorrow yay haha be a way s-curve nearly lisa says wah wee a ba sa ba okay so we're in a banana plantation as you can see get the bananas and the harlot again vamos a happy fall blah okay wait yes you sit me okay so one thing about 80 because I won't be in the mountains this time as you can see they have no more trees who's all cut down while back of course this causes a lot of problems it's mostly sand and causes a lot of mudslides hard to have any kind of culture you know some farms and it's one of the reasons also oars there's hardly any rain it's been about a month and a half right now it hasn't rained it's dry so i thought i'd let you guys know about this a bit i'm on the roof right now I'm a friend

and well it's just a nice place to be because it's so hot and muggy it got some breeze so catch you guys later hey folks just want to talk a minute about a little bit about safety especially in these areas like Haiti I mean we do everything to try and prevent from getting sick you know we take all our vaccinations apply as a bee cholera of course it's not a vaccine you got to drink it twice malaria pills you got like I've got to take them for eight weeks even though I'm here three weeks I still got to take him it's not a hundred percent but its prevention good prevention just this look at this that's just the first few days they're just voracious killers these mosquitoes and even though I have deep you know I'm well equipped but you can't be always safe a hundred percent now I've been sick just about with everything so even though I was quite preventive there's still a chance that you know we may get sick but what I was wanting to just show you real fast it's concerning the water now I know you guys have seen this before and some of you own it and it's fairly good I mean I like it it's it's effective it's lightweight and it's cheap to buy was around 2025 when I bought this one and it's versatile I mean just a drink it's got a protective cap okay I'm not going to make a review out of this I don't have time but the cap is protected and you have your filter this is detachable right when it's fully loaded inside here all you need to do is drink like a straw you bite this piece here and you just drink suck like a strong very nice kills ninety-nine point nine percent it says I haven't been sick with this yet you don't need to squeeze you just suck it in and if ever you want to use this bottle because i have another bottle that i pour water into have extra all you to do is take this little piece hose out put it back in you turn it upside down and you just squeeze it in the water in your other bottle also if you're really stuck and you can't use your bottle you can use this as a straw put it right in the source and suck it so i know some people have had maybe some bad experiences with this any type of product some have good and some bad but so far i mean this is lightweight the places we go here this is a must I need this

I start I'd give you this quick quick review if you're looking for something simple this works really well all right whoever you've taken those malaria pills they are disgusting they don't have any sugar coatings on them okay and even though he wanted you to try and swallow them as fast as you can and you think you're going to avoid that disgusting taste

coming off oh my god on fire man yeah okay there's 24 kids that were taking care of it much as we can then get off a sequel mess it up on 22 the score Pooh boy happen to get to a range image observable Joseph racism that beautiful babies before tomorrow you guys in someone a solution the solution is each year wait wait we shaking you follow what I see wait it's a cool so mad no you don't have any see below

oh yeah

yeah I was single hey

Oh

Oh

Oh

Oh

okay i'm going to show you a few things that people don't talk about when they open a green fresh coconut now most people think even in TV shows they'll say that when they drink this they drink the coconut milk or cream but actually it's water can call it coconut juice ready right so let me show you real quick the amount of juice that was in there this is a big amount okay now they say that you can only take one a day because it'll give you a diarrhea so let me show you another treat that's in here now don't worry about the ash hold I need the cement because that's all we have here and I don't think they'll be worried about their knives look at that when the coconut is fresh it's like a jelly gel gelatin it's not hard when you usually see it see when it's fresh it's like rubber now when you want to make the coconut cream or the coconut milk you need to take this when it's dry put in little tiny tiny pieces mix it with water and play with it until you get all the coconut out then you can make either coconut cream or coconut milk depending on how much water you put then when you want to make coconut oil when you're done with this extracting all the coconut you cook it in a pan and it's going to give you a coconut oil so thought i'd share that with you guys it's correct passoni certainly we expect to like the purple one Bonjour Sabah ah Saba well I got ya we and then if you need a bishop if anybody need Lisa men yuck a new man York sassy provide provide one man well there is just one more thing no we get one fish protein so one of the safest foods when you come out here anywhere actually would be any type of fruit that has some kind of outer skin or peeling like this mango or you know bananas coconut whatever you can find with appealing that's fairly safe but of course you want to clean the exterior of the peeling now what we have here we used I use some javax you know chlorine mixed it in water and clean that well but whatever you have you make sure you clean this well before you eat it also your knife whatever knife you got this is what we got here you make sure you clean this well because as you cut into the fruit if there's a bacteria on the knife it's going to go into the fruit with the liquid water and it can cause you can be sick so very safe any fruit that has appealing but you make sure you clean everything exterior and the tool you're using

and of course I just love mangoes and this life is not cut but anyway in a mango you've got a seat I'm just showing you the best way to eat this that Josie showed me from when I was in the Philippine a while back they just mango few layers this way then the other way

that way it makes it easier to eat from very simple to eat from so come on these countries fruit is the best deal but of course there's always safety factor clean everything and you'll be okay mr. reflective wall yeah it's yours buddy voyage right so you got charcoal and I hear right that's how they take care of their oil ah he's cooking some bean background rap

alright so this building that you see here this is houses that we provide through the BMA missions missions in the States you know for those in need of course we can't do it for everybody but that's what it looks like we're very happy with it it's about 10 x 16 or something

go

I think a fab okay so what you just saw that girl put on her head think about this five gallons of water a gallon is about eight pounds so she has 40 pounds of water and wait on her head and she's climbing up all right so we're supposed to be in the mountains but we have some contacts here and it looks like we're going to be here for a little while at the oceanfront got a pretty nice view I'll just give you a little glimpse of it you're definitely someone if we had people flip you pop you know saliva the maybe where they talk about your atheism okay babe minimal whop whop whop him rub in a vehicle dr. salim abbud nobunaga ok me palatino mama como se da nobis Amanda that's the UH what do you call it it's not the Caribbean Sea the Caribbean Sea is more over there it's the the good nav canal I think or the anyway it's a nice site from here nice change I knew

anivia this is a place where in the near future we would like to build a compound and in this compound we'd like to build two schools one of them would be for the men with small mechanics and the second would be for the ladies to teach them some sewing you know that to build skills so that they can bring income for themselves it's not going to start a big but want to start small and hope it's going to happen I know you see a lot of videos out there with how to sharpen with some ceramic cup but sometimes it really comes useful when you have nothing else I found this knife here it's a pretty cool knife very dull and it's actually made in the USA right there and says Old Hickory on this but it's very dull and what you try and find is one that's really course that's going to help I'm concentrating on this part here that I don't really need the other part you see here the metal that stayed on it you see that it works compared to the other side see here shiny part right there that wasn't there before now I didn't go up here much because all i need is this part here and it's fairly sharp not hear popping but do the job for what i want to do so if ever you didn't know about this ceramic cups very useful we have nothing else something very popular here in Haiti is the well most people know you know about this sugar cane very popular something that they grow locally and well well this is the knife you just saw me sharpen usually you need something a little bit bigger than this I just want to get this out here

and you feel it this part here I peeled a little bit too much there but anyway this part here you just

just

shoo it you're just sucking there the sugaring through the fibers little bit like cat tail are you sucking the starch and you throw the fibers there's something that they sell a lot so I just wanted to share this little thing with you let's say this is their candy all right so i'm going to show you guys something over here you see a man-made dugout well that they done in one area it's about a good 15 feet deep see if i can get you to see this the water is very clear nice i don't know how the flow is not sure about that but one red light that I see as no cover or even if it did all any bacteria or even viruses could get in there and spoil that water so the drink it even though it's nice and clear would be no no for me or anybody because remember see all the mosquitoes even going on it's the things that you don't see that are dangerous right all kinds of bugs in there so that water bottle that I showed you at the beginning would be awesome I get thirsty throw that in there bring up the water take my bottle no problems now one thing I didn't tell you about that bottle is that it doesn't tell you the shelf life or when the filter is not good now it's supposed to be good for a hundred gallons or using the bottle 230 times so what I'm going to do it's simply after two years you know just in general try to remember you know remember what how many times I used it in one year and in two years i'll just throat it's not so expensive no 20 25 bucks I'd rather not take the chance and get new ones so whenever you see water always remember it's not how it looks it's what it can contain and you look at red lights like this if it doesn't flow regular you know just thought i'd share that with you guys right so when you come into these countries there's all types of beautiful critters and bugs that you meet along the way that you don't like I like to share one particular one with you experienced in the Philippines it's the same one that I truly despise I don't like it all it's a cockroach it's a fair-sized it has wings so it flies and when it does bite it'll take a piece of skin off you and it really hurts so just like to share this beautiful creature with you hold on so there it is now remember once I was in the Philippines I had to get up go to the bathroom and when I opened the light there is about 20 to 30 of these crawling all over the place like you know along the walls ceiling in the toilet around the toilet was a challenge to go the bathroom now let's give you a size comparison my thumb it's the length of my thumb easy it's imagine 10 of these crawling up your sheets at night give you some nightmares I

you

angelica sin marshall hace para morir SI hace sentir mal she makes a person a little sucky

alright so 15 days of in a row of work we decided to take day off before we leave and found this beach which is a nice change of scenery and getting out a little bit of a muck feels pretty good we

got another day get ready and we'll be leaving home pretty soon pretty nice beach we show you a little bit after that well I'm kind of missing my wife right now also some real food no I shouldn't say that different food oh man when I give for a nice big fat juicy steak yes sir also

some hard water would be nice to you know you get used cleaning yourself cold water your body gets used to it but it's I know how water seems to be better especially when we're washing ourselves is not the cleanings cleanest place and of course I miss you guys miss interacting with you and you know reading your comments watching some of your videos right now we're just taking a few hours just to rest up cooperate it's going to be quite the contrast I know for a fact that it's about minus 30 Celsius right now at home so you guys in Celsius think about leaving from 40 Celsius minus 30 or you guys in Fahrenheit 100 degrees to minus 20 and that's in one day within a day usually my body takes a couple of days to also I'd like to apologize for some of the filming of this video wasn't that great but I gotta let you guys know I would be lying to you if I would be telling you that Haiti is a safe place it's not

it's got many dangers even on this trip there with some dangers but your prayers were answered so we'll be coming back to and safely so that's why in some of the video you see that it's not the best at shaky or it slow because you always have to keep an eye you have to have ice all around your head as you walk in certain places to your left your right in front on the back on top under and all for thieves kidnappers whatever that's why the video is we're not that great sometimes I had permission sometimes I thin so I acted a little bit like a hypocrite don't tell anybody alright so that's enough I'm starting to sound like a soap opera I'm just glad that this trip is over 18 days and this kind of stuff this can take a lot out of you but I'm satisfied and anxious to get back home in my icebox no next time we see each other it'll probably be in the woods somewhere in Canada you guys take care you
