so I see my axe has become loose for some reason and was tight there probably the heat may be from inside the house I'm not too sure but I would have to retighten that it's not a very big issue it's just a pain when this moves it doesn't do its job right so I'm going to figure out another way so this doesn't move you know I won't put it permanent but just make it much tighter and if I do have to take it apart I tied it with bank line see I don't know hey why don't you guys give me some ideas I don't want it to be permanent but I want it to stay and if I need to take it off I can take it off still maybe you'll other guys can this first time it happens to me actually so I know it probably got because I'm thinking too heat in the house

so I'm just out today for just a quick hike get some fresh air we had we had a nice blanket of snow maybe a week ago but it all disappeared and now it seems we have a nice little blanket again don't know if this one will stay but we shall soon find out [Music]

so I'm not in too much of a rush to get this water hot for a coffee so let me just just let it simmer just want to relax and all I have for lunch actually is some good old beef jerky can't go wrong with that boat so a lot of people always ask me about my boots well be honest these boots are not special but they do the job and just in case it was my socks here just in case you're asking now I'm not gonna get this close okay we're just gonna tell you these are not good for minus 20 by any means minus 10 is max you got a liner inside pretty thick you can take out and dry up got some good traction the rubber is not too stiff so it hurts your shins when you bend down or it's a pretty good boot it's made by actin oh just maybe I'll you know take a picture or just show you closer later and they're not too expensive they're under 100 bucks anyway but other companies like probably Baffin makes them and I forget forget other the other names but there's just your typical green boots that's what I wear pretty much all winter and you know unless it gets really cold then I have another pair of boots for that and I gotta talk about that in this video just show them when I wear them oh yeah Acton looking up or Baffin as a note is a good company also when I'm sure there's others well this is a super perfect I guess I could call it a winter day it's not winter yet but it certainly looks like it and you know it gets the weather is always strange like yesterday morning was minus 15 then Celsius which must be close to getting close to that zero I guess and in Fahrenheit but anyway right at ten or eleven o'clock zero or thirty right now it's not too cold it's actually perfect it's maybe minus one I'm just here to breathe some good air just relax and enjoy myself as much as I can I don't have too long today so I'll just be here maybe three hours max but totally worth it okay quickly here they are for me they go like oh maybe four inches under my knee feel pretty high nice string what they look like probably can't see much of it there but hey that's the new Woodsman exercise boys and girls yep try that

here's my lunch beef jerky love getting them too close to the fire just to warm up because they're frozen hard as a rock and this is my preferred and I do say preferred but beef jerky Jack Link's peppered I love pepper this is a small bag but I mean I like a lot of them but I have to say this is my most favorite I'm a pepper fan you know I've been forgetting spoons lately so okay hold on this thing is boiling I don't want to lose all my water so with this vapor you're gonna stay for me thank you sir Oh been doing a lot of sticks lately this is okay there

good enough for me let's get that coffee I wonder if it's too hot still yeah yeah I forgot my gloves for fire but anyway this will do it's not a cool quickness so I suppose this is too hot too okay now I still have I still had quite a bit of three and ones so I'm gonna waste them

well she's pretty hot I even have some leaves with it Oh nope I'm not taking a chance I'd still do hot it's coming soon though so I'm just going to relax just wait for it you know what I miss my backpack I should have brought it oh by the way I know again a lot of people have been asking the backpack you've been seeing all the time in my videos that I always carry it's Maxpedition Falcon 2 and I have to say it's an awesome little pack and it's special because I got from a trade from a good friend of mine in the US and as you can see it's a type of our ACU digital camo and it's discontinued it's been discontinued for quite a while and it took me a long time to find those pouches man who took me a while but I got what I wanted there's hardly anything or hardly anything left and I'm satisfied with it like it is so for those of you asking it's a falcon 2 by Maxpedition it's about a 20 liter pack I guess but that color doesn't exist anymore but I miss it because oh gosh I would have certainly lied down a little bit you know why the fire is going it's possible to snooze 15 20 minutes right now I don't have it so all right are we ready oh yes thank you Lord Jesus this is perfect

very very good all right so I'm gonna relax that this Firebird it's nice to be in the hardwood forest I'm usually in what's the word in English coniferous conifers coniferous forests I guess and wood burns like crazy but this sugar maple one tree one good tree does the trick

burn slowly doesn't pop all over the place it's nice and hot it's really warm right here it's nice you guys you guys feel like taking a hike before we leave let's go take a little walk no winter wonderland okay which way are we going to go I guess I guess we can go right in front of us what do you think it looks pretty nice yep

let's take a little walk see what we can find or just take a walk happy to have you guys with me you know at least I don't talk to myself I like to talk to myself there's someone around say what kind of crazy guys that but now I'm not crazy because I'm talking to you when I start answering myself oh then there's a problem
