alright folks over this video we're gonna take a look at another flashlight company called Oh light okay so I decided to try out another company now Oh light is not something new a lot of people know about this company it's pretty much over the United States it's well loved I picked up this little light maybe over a month ago or so company is Oh light and it comes in this little plastic box and what I like is right off the bat is that everything is all the things that you really need to know about the flashlight is pretty much on this box now this one is called the m1 x striker it's a tactical type flashlight or tactical EDC it's got full thousand lumens 360 our time hundred ninety meters and if we go through here you can probably let me get this out of there there you go it's got five modes you can pause it if you wish to read all about it

okay so 0.5 to a thousand lumens strike bevel that serves as a last resort to position removable pocket clip we'll take a look at that aircraft-grade aluminum body with anti scratch type three hard anodizing it does take different batteries if it doesn't say here I will find it somewhere else okay right there two cr123a or one 18650 so this is what you get if you buy the m1x comes in this box and you have a little paper that shows different other flashlights okay so it comes with this little sheath here actually a very simple sheath belt loop carries very well lightweight velcro fits in nicely very nice sheath no complaints about it now the flashlight itself me give you a quick look its quality its well-made nice anti grip or a grippy I can't remember the name in English but anyway so it doesn't slip and it's not too rugged so it's uncomfortable you got the heat thing here when it overheats a smooth reflector so a nice spot now this is obviously a tactical flashlight okay so it's all in black you have this long clip here and I like this long clip there's no way in the world you can it can get out of your pockets accidentally and you can put it either way you know tip up you can change it put this this here or tip down I wouldn't recommend tip up because every time you put your hand in your pockets you don't want to scratch yourself or scratch your hands all the time there's two way of using it you got a tail cap here and the side switch alright sorry about that some thing disturbed me okay so as I was saying very easy to to use tail cap side switch so you put it on and you go through your mode just by clicking and you got five of them if you want your strop you just hold your sight switch and your strobe will come close it if it's got a momentary where you just go half way here I want to show you okay and does have memory also what it does have if you double half click and then push all right through it will go right to the thousand mode okay so I'm trying to put that in camera if I can so one two you got the full if you do it three times three half clicks and then the third one you just go right through it'll give you the strobe so one two three okay another way to access the moonlight when it's closed you hold the side switch down and you tail cap and you get this I know it looks all complicated and stuff but really it's not it's a pretty simple to use now I like how compact it is it's like a little over five inches it's not heavy it's powerful and it's pretty easy to use even though it's just five inches it can still be used easily this way with no problems at all one thing I noticed on the side switch here what they've done is they put a I know how to call this a metal lip around the switch button which I haven't seen in any other side switches where the switch is a little bit I'm gonna say sensitive to the side you know it moves it can be I don't maybe broken off or something but I like this thing here that they put so it doesn't happen now does it change the fact that it's harder to find you know with your thumbs not really because the whole thing is going up but to be honest any any flashlights I've had all the side switches are hard to find the dark especially you know with gloves but they are findable but this is a big plus I think I like that it's it's more rugged if it hits somewhere it's got this metal thing here to protect the switch which is cool if you are going to use this and click all the time which we don't do it could be a little bit the metal thing goes in the thumb but that's a compromise that I don't care about I'm not the one that's gonna you know switch this thing all the time I rather it be protected this way so that's a big big plus right on that's about it

like it okay so the good the bad and the ugly there's really not anything ugly about the slash right it's meant to be a tactical it's all black it's got a nice finish to it it's really quality so concerning ugliness

there's nothing absolutely nothing to be said on that it's super nice the good I like that it's compact that you can use it both ways even though it's small you can use it this way quickly or with a side you got two options to use it I like also that the tail switch here explain something to you you know usually the lot of flashlights have I know what they call them that they have these walls okay around it I know it looks cool but I find them annoying I know they're there to make it stand up but you know who uses that I don't or maybe it's this little wall that sticks out is there too stop stop us from accidentally opening it up but I've had those walls and I have opened it up in my pockets so it didn't work that way but the reason why I don't like the walls is at night obviously when you use a flashlight bare hands or gloves sometimes when you need it fast you hit the wall and then yeah okay where is it here it is but with this it doesn't really matter doesn't matter if you have bare hands or gloves even though you hit it you know 1/8 of an inch it will light up okay doesn't matter where you hit it you don't have to be right in the middle no matter where you hit this thing it'll light up very sensitive momentary I love that yeah all good I like it now the bad um I also like this slip forgot to say that Oh also what I like it's got two Springs now you won't see in that one but that side has a spring in that this site has a strain in it they're a compact resistant and also for you know recoil with guns now I'm not sure if this is mountable on a gun but I know they have specific lights for guns but that's another good option things I wouldn't prove for me personally okay first let's talk about the bezel it's a little bit too aggressive for me anyway you could take half off and it would be plenty also something else I would like the bezel to be removable for example if I don't know I'm on a plane on my carry bag carry-on bag I don't think when they see this that it's going to pass so to avoid that if it's unscrew ball I can unscrew it put it somewhere else and no problem something else that would improve this great flashlight is it's not rechargeable I would like it to be rechargeable and because it's all it's well made in the sense that you know everything is protected I wouldn't want to see those rubber things and you have to take the rubber off and I would like to see a hidden port like maybe in the back here or you just unscrew it a bit and you can put in your cord I don't know but that would be a big plus so I'd like to see a change because most of the time for me I used the tail tail tail cap here and this is a tactical so if you're gonna use a tactical and something does happen you want to have time to think to click twice or four times or five times to get the right you know what I mean so this double and then this trip pull to get that that's a little bit now not for me so what would be cool the one thing that's good though is that it's got memory so if you are using this for tactical stuff let's say I know you work like late at night you can leave it on the memory of a thousand so your moment me your momentary will you know let's go to a thousand there let's say that's a thousand well your momentary will already be in the thousand so that's cool for that now I don't know how to how these flashlights work I'm no expert but something that would really be cool if you want the strobe to work properly you know to be able to use it I mean let's say I use the momentary for the big one if I could just push it and just hold it and two seconds boom and get my stroke that would be cool but I don't know if it's possible to do either way if these things would be done to this flashlight it would be perfect tactical EDC light it's just nice and it works well and it feels comfortable so we're gonna go out and just you know take a look at the high high lumens that's what people are most interested in but just before we do that I got something else to show you obviously it's from Oh light I'll give you the little speck here so you can pause it if there's something that interests you pause it thank you very much it's got these little rubber thingies here to keep it stable as you can see you can charge two batteries at the same time and you know in the back it tells you here what kind of battery as it can charge so you can look that up but I'm a 18650 battery all my stuff is on that and I love those batteries so you plug it in you see this little blue light that means it's ready here you're gonna have all kinds of lights

for actually that will tell you when it's charged or how its charging so obviously they sell their own lights here I've got one of theirs 18650 and you can't really go wrong it's easily identified you got the plus sign there and the minus so plus minus just put it in now you see these lights it's like a moon they're all lit okay so this one is fully charged so let's say it would be charging it would be here with flash that means it's charging it's you know 3/4 percent or 75 percent charge also something that's really cool sometimes we're we're fast and we do stuff like me make mistakes and you put it upside down well it's gonna tell you it's not gonna blow up in your face the lights are going to flash so when that flashes that means there's something wrong so you check it again and you say oops

okay I'm upside down let's put it back that's full now if I take another battery that's not fully charged just to give you an example so there you go it's almost charged it's at the full moon but when this stops that means it'll be fully charged

I haven't timed this to see how long a charges but I don't really care I put them in and just leave and do something else that's like about 50 75 feet maybe 100 neighbors house 150 feet nice but look at that let's stop that right now it's got a beautiful light I like it yep very nice see that it's a quick overview as I said I've had it just for a month but I truly enjoyed it price-wise I'm really not sure I think it's my name I'm not gonna say anything just in case I'm mistaken I don't want to mislead you so I'm gonna leave a whole bunch of links if you're interested and I also saw that they have a five-year warranty which is really cool

oh there's another type of battery you can put in our cr123a but anyway I would stick with the 18650 to get the maximum output like they say okay so hope you enjoy this thanks for watching [Music]
