you

you

now

a lot of people can get a cold it's putting the cold into the birds nests and blowing it you can't be in a rush now imagine that is full of little particles little dust if you put it in too early in your bird's nest what's going to happen you're going to spread your dust all over the place and your coal is going to stay small if you take your time like right now let the cold catch up and when it does it fuses together and creates a big cold which is the key to pretty much being successful in any type of lighting up your bird's nest you got to put a hot coal right away

right now it's becoming nice and big Oh Josie can just come up a little closer before I

you see I'm letting it catch and when it does it becomes one it fuses together now right now it's almost all caught that's the time to put it in the bird's nest not at the beginning because your dust is just going to spread all over the place and you won't have as much as a chance to get here what to succeed so of course your bird's nest is the key good preparation which I didn't do that's fine should work anyway good luck this burn no panic I could just let this catch a little bit more and just blow and would catch now my births in this here is a little poor so

remember this guy's could be charcoal off natural stuff you know your embers always make sure if you want to have the greatest of success to put your cold into your bird's nest when it's really nice and hot and big to its maximum even with them i do have seen people put it right away and it just burns a hole through wait till you're a minus is all caught then you can put it in give you a better chance don't go away guys will be cooking some steak the old-fashioned way stay tuned alright so I believe my rock is hot enough spread the coals not all over the place just enough to expose my cooking surface if I can say it that way I want to keep some heat around

like this

and just going to use this to you we won't kill you but if you don't have to eat wood its best and

cook my steak and of course can't forget the Montreal steak spices oh yeah put some so we're gonna let that cook gonna be hungry another little trick you see this rock here that's slanted now you can cook this way as well all you need to do is make this rock become hot once it's hot you move the coals right about to here so there's still some coals throw your steak on this piece of rock it's going to stick there is going to cook from the inside you know from the side of the rock and your coals on this side that you left and cook the outside now it's a great way of cooking also some small game let's say little squirrel I just throw that squirrel once it's all cleaned up throw it on the rock it's going to cook from the inside out and leave the coals there to be able to cook the outside so leave that there for oh maybe five I don't like my steak to cook so we'll leave it about five minutes five to seven minutes on both sides see it's all cooking up there can you hear it hmm all right so all right to just turn her over cook a little bit the other side and she'll be done and all I'd say maybe 3-4 minutes and we'll taste it it's looking good alright

she's done sorry about my makeshift plate but I didn't bring any so I cooked it about this is I think about medium rare about four minutes on both sides and it's fine and my wife likes it when it's like this so so on the rock okay well actually it's a little bit it's not overcooked but okay ok

mmm Oh carb now this is called a steak so while I was cooking the steak I was thinking when you think about it old ways never die do they I mean yes this is unpopular and all that stuff but what do you think of all our you know stuff we have in our houses and I appreciate them all but what happens when that stops working we can always come back to this that's why I say it never dies Oh taste hmm all right I'm going to eat this and then I resolve the coffee so talk to you guys later we're going to make ourselves a coffee so stay tuned we'll conclude so time for coffee it was a beautiful day warm in the Sun but in the shade it's tough about alright

huh so anyway again a big thank you for watching my videos and I just wanted to mention probably notice that I don't answer back the comments like I used to I I just want to tell you guys that I read all of your comments and you know you guys are funny or encouraging and you know I really appreciate you guys I have a hard time answering back because of time obviously we work what between 12 and 14 hours a day you only have like Saturday's off so it's pretty tight but I just want you to know that I do read them even though I don't answer this so thanks for watching
