find a little bit of dry ground okay I have a lot of work to do all right so what I'm doing today is just setting up it quick you know quick very quick shelter little shelter more of a some old tarps I had at home just uh keep the wind from coming in here and if it rains I got a little cover at the top but I'm doing this because I'll be staying overnight and I gotta get this ready as a guest that's coming most of you know him I mean there's still ice I was thinking of another easier way to camp but I guess we're gonna have to camp as if it was winter still a whole bunch of ice here obviously these chairs I have two chairs you taking them off making a bed of boughs I cleared my fire pit and I made it safe away going to the creek so we don't slip and fall and her ourselves all right now need to get a small fire going I have a little bit of lunch and I'll be showing you a kind X sheep from grizzly outdoors don't go away okay so real quick fire pit is cleaned up got a little bit of wood there still got some dead standing over here and we got two chairs and we'll be sleeping on the ground here somewhere and got a cover top it's tied with all kinds of ropes not really fancy the tarp is really big so I made another tripod bigger one just to keep it up and the one at the top the middle one is flat so will puncture the tarp and

there's still quite a bit of snow well this is the little life over here there's no problem it's getting here that could be little dangerous be careful

the creek is running nicely beautiful water really encouraging now it's time to get some water for some noodles and coffee all right so this is what the rough campsite looks like from here nothing special

there's something to keep us you know out of the wind and the rain if ever rains and plus or announcing quite a bit of rain so anyway that's what she looks like

waiting on my noodles you get ready the kettle is still has plenty of water for a coffee so it's not too too close to the fire don't want it to evaporate all but so just give you a little view from here just be patient I'll show you the nice sheath pretty soon go still quite a bit of snow as you can see it's certain places man I can't wait for all that to be melted got my bag here and some wood ready to process for that overnight we're still going to need a little bit more now we're not going to use a fire to keep us warm all night but this time anyway it's just just gonna have you know fire in the fire pit and that's it this thing here on the ground is ice now in the middle of winter the snow is nice of course it's cold but it's better than this weather right now because that is not only cold but wet so we'll have to put a decent ground cover all right so let me show you a little bit of the back now I know it's not pretty but I had to hold it somehow and got it there I've got also one up there so it's on top of the wall here so if water does come down and I anchored them in the snow with a piece of wood you sink it in and he put some snow around it and it should freeze still a little bit and hold this into place this is very very solid until the snow melts away anyway last year I uh I bought a knife it's a gunny hunter for Bark River very pleased with tonight but as usual well this is my personal opinion their seats are not that great well I don't like him anyway and personally I'm a big fan of leather there's just something about leather that I I admire but I thought I do have another kind of sheet for this night why not Kydex oh it took me a while there's a whole bunch of great Kydex sheath makers out there but this one stuck out and it's exactly what I wanted and even I should say a lot more than what I wanted mat at grizzly outdoors has customer service is a one he's got loads of different types of sheep different colors of Kydex designs I mean you name it he's got a whole bunch and there's one that popped in my mind and it's called I think the extreme horizontal carry and I loved it and I decide to purchase I had to send my knife because he didn't have it for the Hagane hunter but he's got loads already made for all kinds of other knives so he just okay what I'll do I'll bring the camera a little closer hold on let me take it off the belt first there okay first it's tech lock a lot of you know about the tech lockets I mean just it's solid and they could be no turned horizontally or vertically and how it works is you've got a secondary security here that you just pop open and then you on both sides one two here squeeze and you lift it up and here you have an adjustment for your belt these two things can be pumped out and placed in the right place and you know right size your belt and then you you just close it you don't have to take your belt off you can just put it as is just really close this one here alright so this is the bad boy take a look at this now that is some awesome sheath what's unique is it's in two parts and well there was one I was almost wanted to get he had a dark OD green as the bottom piece here and the top was black that was beautiful but I wanted something different for this for this gun II hunter here and well I saw this and see if you can see it it's uh what do you call this carbon fiber and the Kydex is here and that's what it looks like pretty cool also I mean his sheath can come it even can come with I think a Lansky sharpener I didn't eat that so hmm I have the fire steel on it or you just pop this off like this and you got your fire steel very easy take off and put back very secure even added an LED light here and it's pretty strong for a small IDI like I'd say it's maybe 10 12 lumens it's pretty cool anyway this can be taken off obviously this part here can be taken off if this ever birds want to change it the sheath is amazingly well made and the finishing on it is exquisite and you know you don't have to pull real hard he's got this thumb grip here there you just you know push back push you take this away for a minute cut myself here

let's give you a closer look you can use it as a you know a neck carry and I'm not internet carry so but the finishing on this is just awesome best awesome

very nice work and put a little little design here all the edges are nice and smooth the thumb it's just I'm just so very very pleased with it so I thought I'd share that with you now this is the gun II hunter bark river awesome little knife knife sorry maybe I will review this some of these days but awesome so anyway just thought I would share this with you it's actually my only Kydex sheath that I own and I'm very very pleased and proud of it so anyway what I'll do I'll you know this in case you guys are interested in checking him out I'll put his website in the description so once again thanks for watching this is mike linville chef Cardoz
