Billy hey men look at the clouds yeah I know they're coming yeah there's rain coming oh yeah big rain we need a shelter you have an idea yeah I've got a great idea

bigger tent do you know Baker can you bet they're having no idea let's make one good showing out son we need pork yeah it's a 12 by 16 feet tarp okay okay and you know I got a good one

you know don't be don't be cheap just a good one we need also a grommet grommet kit yep

grommet capture a good tape oh that's good yeah man that's a gorilla tape whoa Gorilla Tape we need a tape of course two eight two tapes oh man you're smart and and we need also some scissor or a knife and good enough okay so Billy chose a good tarp but I'm going to explain to you why he's got black on one side and silver not completely aluminum on the other side we know that the black color will transform light into heat so you know it will absorb heat from the outside and from the fire this is going to be inside going to reflect back heat from the fire to his body so that was a cool choice right on many more thanks thanks and it was on discount that's why I got it they never seen anything I know I know but you know is like well okay okay oh we're cutting it in half on the 12-foot side there is one board underneath and another one here and it's two feet here and six feet on the other side and we have to cut two pieces of that two pieces that's for the sides right yeah so the old duct tape Gorilla Tape you do pretty much anything with this now this is old it's the old thing what is it older older yeah gorilla is it oh yeah yeah it's existing for a long time really oh yeah nobody especially in this state another probably the strongest duct tape that exists no professional there but anyway you guys can tell us okay so this is what it looks like see the bottom part right here got the two wings like a rocket on the top so now we need to refold this anyway you'll see once it's all done it'll be easier to show these two sides here we taped both sides we overlapped taped on one side taped on the other side so it's strong because we need to put some grommets on both sides at the top here pretty much pretty much at the max on my side

baby all right boy and that's going to look pretty good if I do say so myself okay okay oh man oops let's do this yes trucker's hitch harper's trucker's hit cluttered nut fuckers truckers Walker yeah a corker that's a very well-known and important not to know differ the ground may not be good

we use that same one person okay all right okay good I just we need another peg on the other side and that would be it given just right here I'm sure gonna work Yallah yeah and they're gonna know anything this has to go down my friend this looks like this right angle will adjust it that's not a problem okay we go there you have it so the Baker 10 yeah at the bigger 10 it's now done just with a tarp I like this right there Billy yeah you like it Tara it makes that if it shows in the video but there's a little slant for the raid yep it protects your fire I mean you can work here what you're taller than me but I can still stand up here so Billy can you tell us a little bit of the history of this Baker tent yep well you come from back back in 19th century women oh yeah and well at the beginning of the 20th century a lot of books you know mention this kind of tent and like for example the walls the NIST MOOC or George Washington you know George Washington seer and the e had a kind of camp but no roof the same kind of kept but without the roof and and let on you know they're just made a roof for shelter and the branches inside and it just improved with time okay so and well I've heard that bigger tent mostly is from the Baker you know it's like a Baker used to bake us you know is is red bread and cookies and although okay good and they had this kind of tense because you know if it even if you rain you've got a great shelter here and you can lie down here put some stuff just beyond so this is very great really nice you know what yeah this is actually excellent and obviously we always try and put the fire you know parallel with the wind because if you put in the back it's going to do it the eddy motion and comment and all that but sometimes you know very well the wind wants that silvina so the only problem with this is the wall in the sense that if it switches during the night and the smoke goes in there and you're in there it's going to swirl and you cannot so one thing that I see really liber and it's long enough you know for not that to happen is if we lie down or feet over there yeah and our head here close to the fire not too close to burn or warm and if it does happen well we're always where there's pure oxygen here yeah well actually this is why back in the 19th century people were just lying head that's it why shouldn't it we're not at first they were head in the back oh man because they believed that you know they had to keep their feet warm okay better than their head it prevents a lot of illnesses okay this is but yeah you're right man that's a very good tip that would work well but I I love I love the shape like I said everything is protected I mean we can work here doesn't matter if it rains and it's long how long is it from there to there let's say an order at least seven feet oh wow seven feet long it's quite long but well six feet will be perfect but we add extra room you know I can read part we use it well it was a great experience

thanks man I wouldn't mind sleeping in here someday of course we will okay yeah we've got other adventures men coming actually this could be kept just hold it up oh this is what's we oh yeah yeah yeah okay they're carrying a prospector tent and all that stuff yeah yeah our next trip should be that that's awesome yeah you guys agree yeah yeah look they're nodding yeah oh yeah I want to see what's up okay we're gonna freeze all buck outside okay anyways guys thanks for watching hoping to enjoy this Baker tent if it's the first time you've seen it well that's even good i've heard about it i never built one myself and because a billy here well now I know how to do it thanks for your help you guys think you Oh
