in this video I'm going to show you how to make a snare to catch some birds I found this tree here that was cut for some reason so I'm going to use this as a demonstration purpose so I got a little bit of work to do I won't have enough time to show you every step as I do it explain it to you once it's done right all right so we're ready guys we'll just pretend this stick here is a bird crow whatever you want kind of bird comes and make sure this is really trigger sensitive so we'll just you know pretend he lands right here on it and there's your bird this bird ain't going anywhere all right now I'll show you how to do it guys first I want to tell you this is just for demonstration but this is not the best place to set this trap obviously you'd like to put it on you know high on a tree and more not in the middle of the woods more in a clearing where birds would see it so the first thing you do is you find yourself a dead piece of wood or wherever a dead tree standing and you gouge out both sides until you can make yourself a small hole small hole here in the middle after that you find your self a piece of stick you know about I know 12 14 inches long as such like this you trim the end here to be able to put your but your your bait and you make it fit just so it fits a little bit inside you just want to go just a little bit in not much right now the next step is to find yourself your spring once you've found your spring all right your tie I know you can't see it but you just tie one piece of rope here this paracord sorry it's green onto your spring but first you put your paracord in the hole pull it and you pull it until your paracord is pretty straight and you can see behind here I'm holding the spring with my hand and you take the measurement where you're gonna have to make a knot then you take it back out and you make the knot now me my knot has already made right

the knot is very important because that's what's going to be holding your trigger now put this in my hand and I'm out I'm gonna hold this trigger as such slowly find the right position and slowly let go of the trigger be careful right

and make it a sensitive as you can now you see everything is done now all you have left to do is you make your snare at the end here let's hope this isn't framed you guys know how to make snares once your snare is made you gently just put it on your stick like this right right on the top your bait is gonna go right here now the birds gonna come slowly he's gonna get caught no way in the world legs body doesn't matter hopefully this is for the legs but there's no way in the world that he will get off of this trap so I hope this was informative for you guys and I thank you for watching this is my friend bushcraft Bart

you
