hey folks Mike from bush-rat Barden's again ah this was supposed to be an outside video again outdoor video but somebody else had other plans you know in the wintertime when it's windy cold snows going all over the place and you want to take a little time and talk about certain details on a pack it's a little bit difficult so I hope you guys don't mind now I've only wanted this pack twice so this is going to be just a quick look of it and I actually don't know everything about it yet but I will tell you what I do know so far now this is a Christmas gift 2014 from my wife Josie she had compassion over me thank God because I didn't have any big packs any longer I only had that condor 2 and when it came to longer times in the woods well it was a little bit of a pain and she knew that I was i ball in this one for quite a while and she got it for me bless her heart it's the saber 5 or excuse me saber 45 by Cara more you guys my friends in the UK will know about this bag and if I say anything wrong about it you know not good information please let me know and if I forget please let me know I'd like to know as well and if I'm not mistaken I think it's the SF special forces bag up there in the UK across the pond anyway

it's made out of a thousand denier okay and obviously it comes in other colors I think there's a some type of camo there's maybe coyote brown and black not quite sure

but the pack does not come with these side pockets here it comes just with that you got to buy these separately it's quite an expensive pack and won't tell you the price you can just look it up as pretty expensive but I think it's going to be worth it for a while anyway now what I personally like especially when it comes to bigger packs as you can see there are no moly attachment at all on this pack and I don't mind that and that's why I was eyeballing something like this I'll explain why having a bigger pack I don't need to have all kinds of bags hanging around my bag because it's big enough so I can carry everything inside now the middle part here you know it's saber 45 so it plays around 45 litres and these two side pockets here by the looks of it it's got to be at least ten liter at least you know give or take so in all it's around a sixty five liter pack which i think is big enough for me anyway so I don't need moly attachments on this okay because arrows thing is going to go inside well it's the ID anyway another thing why I was wanting something like this and not a bag that's full of inside pockets and outside pockets is that when you do use a bigger pack obviously you packed a lot more stuff so I wanted one big compartment there's a little compartment inside but it's pretty much useless big compartment and two other big ones on the side because when you have all kinds of inside pockets and even some packs with the outside pouches once you pack in your bag like you're supposed to they become pretty much useless because the bag expands and takes all that room with this one you got a nice big 45 in the middle and these are apart so it doesn't matter how much you pack it it won't affect the two compartments on the sides here it also has a top compartment which I love it doesn't look big but it's pretty big which is not affected by my top load here at all so anyway just let's just think it's a look quick look I'll take the camera and give you a quick look of the features I love about this pack okay so as you can see the front part here has these loops for whatever attachments you want now you can I just have an axe here that's in the loop at the bottom I'll show you for now it's holding here and it's tied here and safely inside the top there but it comes with these bungees and I just put it like that for now you got one on both sides it's just bungees that you can use to tie whatever you want to tie so for now I'm just using it for this packs but you know as I said you can add other stuff to be able to tie also what I love about the Karrimor bag here the clips now on my I don't know if I should go there but anyway on the Maxpedition sometimes the clip is hard to you know loosen up and hard to tighten up but this one is a joy a real joy and each strap comes with this little clip here where you can put in your

the rest of the of the strapped in so it's not flopping all over the place and it's nice and clean all of them have that okay so just to show you again here the clips here they have it on all these straps just put them in keep them clean you can bring right to the bottom so it doesn't move just stays there locked in place very cool so the back part as most packs have great padding this one has a good padding your back it has an inner frame you can take it out and you know frame it to your body adjust it got a handle right up here at the top you got your shoulder straps when you want to adjust the top here just the bottom okay got a your chest strap here that you can adjust you neither bring it up or down depending on your height and of course the back straps nice and pageant good buckles you know nothing bad about it the top here you go adjustable bungee putting gloves jacket whatever you like to put there's also a top pocket I was talking about and all the zippers here on this bag there's not tons of it but they're all covered got a lip covering it which is good keep it more water-resistant

nice zipper that opens and closes well good construction let me show you a little bit how big this is now you think maybe it would be about this big but actually it goes right down to the seam all the way to the back here so the top pocket is about oh maybe a foot this way wide by 10 inches 2 foot the other way and maybe 3 or 4 inches high so it makes a good top pocket here so the side pockets can be taken off really easy obviously just unclip it from the front you know this pack something else I love is simple and easy to take things off it's not like the next addition where you know sometimes you got some bags on the molly's and they're hard to put back on hard to take off this one is very simple you take this off and you got two zippers on both sides that's it just unzip it boom it's gone and you have the same little warrior same little tags hold your tag ends so it doesn't flop all over the place again zipper is covered easy to take off big good old zipper opens up nice no it's just good quality these side pockets I'm telling you they can carry a lot of stuff so all you need to do to take this off unclip it on both sides unzip it and you got two clips on the top two clips on the bottom and you're set to go okay something else that I love about this bag is how the top is done is made it's it's just remarkable so if I just take this off now you know this is the problem with most packs we tend to put stuff in and for some reason it's always there's always a little bit too much right and this comes off I mean it comes out you put the top on and you know you can see all this sticking out so if rain comes it's going to go in like in no time

but with this pack how it's made it's not going to happen you got your normal string as any other bag but you can cinch it down because it has a strap here you can snap there and just cinch it down like that and the cover how it's made and I try it pretty high I can go even a little higher than this

see how it's bulging out well this has like an elastic around it where you can bring it and cover the whole thing it's a very simple and practical excuse me simple practical and good quality bag no one comes to bigger bags just love it oh you show you you have a little mesh inside with a zipper I put little minor things in here zipper works great it's great I am NOT a very tall man as you probably seen it my videos I'm around what am i five eight maybe around that I have probably shrunk to five seven right now so and I'm around 180 175 180 pounds so it gives you an idea now what's important in bigger packs look how easy you don't have to now I don't don't need to to fight this some I won't mention any other packs but some yet that okay is it tightening or not this one you just have to cinch it down and it's good seeing and the weight is really you see the gap well the weight is really on my waist it's really on my waist right now okay these here it's enough they're adjust the chess okay ready to go got these elastics on the side so you don't want these flopping around okay that's what she looks like you know most packs the heavy packs I can feel a big strain here on my shoulders but this one is pretty good you can feel it a little bit maybe I need some adjustments here let's see well it's not so bad I can feel the weight here that's what counts huh oh there's about 25 pounds in here right now not too heavy but you know if you want to adjust it right so that's what she looks like and slows up move some DS up you know it's easy to adjust to yeah yeah I know what the problem was I was too tight at the top because even loose like this I mean it's on my waist I have no strain at all so I guess all I need to do is just just a little bit let you tight like this just a little bit not too much that's the problem at the top here you know when you first get a pack you have to learn how to adjust it there ah now you're talking and finding out this these things I'm doing this video okay okay now she's fun all right that's it one more thing as you can see I do not know this pack completely but I think if I'm not mistaken you can take one of these off and use it as just add a pack you know but I need to check that one out

so anyway this is what it is so far I'm very happy with it as I said it's very easy to understand the buckles of straps were great well-designed for what I want doesn't have a million pockets and all the pockets serve at something so it's great you guys you guys have make these backpack reviews all the time my hat is off to you what a pain man up and down sideways trying to find the right angle you're trying to explain something and it's not there it's a lot of work more than you can imagine so you guys doing it I have more respect for you now trust me okay well thank you for your patience and oh by the way if ever you do have one of these packs in green I have an extra brand new pair of side pockets in OD green like this if ever you need them you know just send me an email or a PM and we can talk about it I can either sell them or trade whatever but they're pretty useless to me right now because I don't need them so okay enough said about this video thanks all for watching us
